Yesterday, weds, went to work, did 1 client the other 2 cancelled!! it was a mum and daughter and the mum was poorly over night. I dint mind people cancelling when they are poorly, it can't be helped. But it is annoying when they just go out!
Did some gardening, meditated, assessed the diploma work of a student, a side tangent of SEjob2! had a rather nice and quiet day!
Thursday early start as the car had to go for mot and service. Plus the advisory when from last year (oops🫣) flip that was expensive £750😩😩
But it had been a jolly good and reliable car, nearly 10 years old and it really have been very reliable so can't complain too much!
We did sell an item on the bay of e today d
For £90 plus £20 for postage, it's very large and an odd shape! And they live in the same county so OH is actually thinking of delivering it himself!
Made hob nobs, did some gardening in between showers.
I put the £11 I have made in clothes sales has gone on the mortgage and rounded it up so it's nice and tidy and the monthly payment and overpayment have come out so mortgage is now £48170.00
nice to have a round figure! The interest will be added in a few days, but I might try and start rounding it down which is very satisfying to do! I always do it with my savings accounts, but not so with the mortgage.

Sunny and warm between the showers🌞

Saturday, oh has paid a good whack to my CC for the garage work and some extra. At that's brilliant.
Got paid 90 for some work SEjob2, so that's also gone on the CC. I did some teaching this morning and a assessment on Wednesday, so that money will go on the CC and it will be very nearly gone, hurrah.
However I have a dental crown at the end of the month 😳 so that's another big whack that will have to go on the CC.boo!
I have set up a nrw pot for health. I used to have one but it got renamed!
Am hoping now 'm back in the teaching scene on my niche area I might get another tutee which will really help!2 -

Thanks beanielou. 🤞🤞 It won't be till about Oct, but hopefully I will know before then.
Feeling so relieved, by CC is now £155. Which is very managable. I have a good week of work coming up next week and so will prioritise it and get it cleared completely

Sunday evening had ruled around again!
Had a good day. Weather has been dry, looked like rain might set in a few times but didn't. I managed to do a load of gardening. Trying to desperately mage a dent in the vast wilderness that is our garden! 😁😁
The rose bed had been done, the wild pond pond triangle beds had been done. I've done the paths by these and today did the first 2 raspberry beds. So got another 5 veg beds to do.👌👌 And then the whole middle section if the garden will be done 🤩🤩
I'm hoping that growth will show right down now and I might be able to get around the whole garden. Which I've never been able to do in the 10 years eve been year, even when we've had a gardener!!
£10 came through from v1nted sale, so I withdrew and stuck it on the mortgage as an OP. Otherwise when I'm browsing I will think it's free money!!
Dd starts her new college tomorrow. First thing she said to me today was, I don't want to go any more! 😢 She is so nervous. But we talked a bit and she knows it's her anxiety. She is looking forward to using her new lunch box!!! , bento style £4, from 1kea, we also dashed to SM with 10 mins till closing to get some lunch box goodies. So these bits will help.
I hope! I'll be driving her in all week and then take going that I might get her on the bus!

Good call on something in the lunch box to look forward to.Made it to mortgage free but what a muddle that became
In the event the proverbial hits the fan then co-habitees are better stashing their cash than being mortgage free !!0 -
How did DD get on today?
I had a learner last week that cried in class she was so nervous. I got her out and she calmed down but it was because she didn't know anyone. Anxiety seems to be a big thing for kids these days - crippling some. So I hope your DD was okay once in there 🤞🏻Mortgage Overpayments 2024/25 - September-December, £152.46. J- £103.27, F- £115, M- £91.50, A- £100, M- £200, J- £200. J- £200. A-£200, S- £221.34
Total- £1583.67
Goal pay off 1% of current mortgage in 1 year. £1650

Thanks beanie and dfw, your poor student dfw! . Anxiety is so horrid and makes life so much harder than it already is!
well it went, the first day is done !
She wouldn't go in without me! But she did go in. When I picked her up she did alot of moaning and negative comments, mostly about the boys 🙄🙄😁 then after we had popped into town on the way back she opened up much more. I think it will be OK. I need to email them about a couple of things.
I had a real stress this morning as they dont have her ehcp. They asked me to send it, but I don't have it! We had a review in Jan, reviewed the draft in Feb and then never saw the finalised copy. I know I should have chased it but never thought i would need to be! So I went to the hub to down lo download it and it's not there, only the old one which is completely out of date. Hence frantic phone calls and still no further. I just have to wait for county to get back to me. I'm not holding my breath!! The college are also going to chase it, they might get somewhere quicker!
Anyway at least the first day is done and tomorrow is a late start, which she's happy about. But I will have to change my work around to drive her in! 🙄
Other than that but if stress, I have managed to complete my list 👍👍👍😎 I mean the list said gardening, I prob did 15 mummy's before DD rang me for collection!! But at least I did a little!1
