Morning,
Busy ish today, due a Sunday anyway!
Going to do a bit more gardening, then hospital app for DD (yes on a Sunday!) then I have a phone call to discuss sine assessment work connected to SEjob2. Which is going to be interesting as although they have worked very hard and have a good grasp, there are significant gaps!
Plus I need to pack up the v1nted items ready for tomorrow2 -
Ooh last night OH and I had a cheeky takeaway, curry. It was delicious. Dd hates the smell of curry with a passion!! So when she's not here and when it's just us 2 we do sometimes indulge!
I had Aubergine karhai! So yum!
And we both have enough left overs for today's meal too, win win!!2 -
Gardening done before a heavy shower came along 😎 there now looks like a sizable chunk of garden near and tidy.
Very husky about that, definetly not looking at the rest of the garden 😭😭😂
Going to keep on tackling that boarder I'm on and the path until I get back round to the house. A bit each day if possible.
Both v1nted items are packed and labelled ready for tomorrow. The kitchen and lounge are cleaned up. Tea tonight is leftovers (can't wait, it was delicious yesterday!) just need something for DD! Who is very very fussy!
Twice seen a rat run past the back door today 🐀 eek!!! We stored feeding the birds months ago and had thought / hoped they had gone but clearly not!
Not sure how to get rid! Had plenty of tries when we had chickens and they are very clever animals!1 -
Hope you enjoy the books!
Curry sounds delish. I'd say coming out of v1nted with profit and some new bits is a win!
We had rats in a past house. None of us neighbours could get rid of them. They came from the local school and were a constant pest.Mortgage Overpayments 2024/25 - September-December, £152.46. J- £103.27, F- £115, M- £91.50, A- £100, M- £200, J- £200. J- £200. A-£200, S- £221.34

Yeah rats are a nightmare pretty much learnt to live with them, but I really don't like them running right past the back door!! Down the garden in the compost heap, I can kinda deal with. Inches from the lounge but so much!!0

I'm going to Egypt! It's a meditation thing with a bunch of girlfriends! Leaving on my birthday on Nov for 5 nights. Have payed the deposit a while ago, now looking at flights. Not enjoying how complicated it is! Going to take another look tomorrow when I'm a bit more refreshed and can focus. Very excited, but am a little scared. Everyone else seems to be booking seperate flight and some are staying for longer which although I would love to, can't really when DD is at college and will struggle without me enough fir 5 nights. Oh well be here and hopefully by Nov she will be able to get the bus in reach day. Oh wont be happy if he has to drive her! Anyway, this trip has been mostly funded by my SEjob2, I put it aside knowing this was coming up so that's very exciting. Total costs will depend on flights and transfers and a few day things.

Morning 1st September today 🤷🤷🤷
Wowsers!
I have just compete job 1, I sent a email to DDs college to say she is leaving. That was hard and weird. She studied so blooming hard to get there and I faught so blooming hard to appeal their decision not to let her in, even though she got the grades.!! Anyway onwards and upwards she starts new college next week 🤞🤞🤞It goes well!
I have a list of jobs to do so must crack on
Do it, do it, do it!
Just get up and get on with it!
