From Iweb login today: "We always try and keep maintenance periods to a minimum, this weekend our Online service will be unavailable from Saturday 29th November 2025 08:00 to Sunday 30th 10:00".
Much longer than a routine tidy-up and six weeks after the first attempted migration. Could this be  another attempt?
In my experience over the years it's regularly down at the weekend - IIRC it was down on Saturday last week or the week before - so I don't think we can draw any conclusions.
Certainly no conclusion, but what you may have missed is that it's to be down for 26 hours.  I've been checking my accounts there every Saturday for the past 15 years and can't remember when the site has been offline for routine maintenance much beyond Saturday lunchtime.  Being offline for 26 hours has never been "regular".
Whether this will be the full migration or just preparation for it, we won't know until it's done.  Correct me if I'm wrong, but IIRC, when they tried the migration last month, the site was back up by around 10 pm on the same day.

On multiple occasions I remember it being down the whole weekend. We don't have enough data. My guess is we'll be told when they try again.
Interesting.  Can you recall when you've had your problems? I've got plenty of data. I've imported the numbers from Iweb into my spreadsheet every Saturday for last 15 years, normally mid-morning (and from HL for far longer), and I don't have any gaps. Bit of an obsession. Are you sure you're thinking of Iweb?
I get seriously peeved on the rare occasions when I have to wait until after lunch, but even that isn't very often.
I've no idea when the migration will be completed, but being down for 26 hours certainly isn't "regular".

For quite a while iWeb was my main broker. I don't remember the dates but a few times I remember wanting to update my MS Money file for dividends and interest at the weekend and I had to wait until Monday.

That's fine, if you say you had a problem for more than a day, let's leave it there. But that's never happened to me, and I've got the numbers to prove it.  I don't care if they never do the move to Scottish Widows so long as I get access by tomorrow. I'm more than happy with it as it is.

It feels like they didn’t properly test the migration.  Echoes of TSB a few years ago.
Except this is an example where they had an issue and reversed it. Unlike TSB
They did but they shouldn’t have been in this position.  The pre migration testing was not comprehensive or thorough enough.  I speak as someone who has performed and managed many migrations.

It doenst look any different to me this morning.  Looks like just a normal maintenance slot, or maybe some prep.work for the switchover.

In my prior life (working) we had a couple of instances where there had to be data migration / conversion at the point of rollout, and it was down to timings and the conversion process falling too far out of step with the conservative timing plans (which had been derived from multiple runs in as close a live test environment as we could make).

In an ideal world the actual go-live process would simply necessitate switching to new, previously migrated data servers.

We don't know the cause so should not be chucking  accusations about their testing strategy.
