Never mind. Await the Claim Form.

    Claim form?
I have had an email from CP Plus, ironically subject "nexus appeal"... seriously which company is it??...
who had been contacted by MOTO and they explicitly mention no further contact unless its to now pay the £170. (gone up) otherwise further action will be taken.
Claim form. As per every other thread.  :)
PRIVATE 'PCN'? DON'T PAY BUT DON'T IGNORE IT (except N.Ireland).

Just ignore them until they issue a Letter of Claim giving you 30 days notice,  followed by a Money Claim using MCOL

just a little update following my attempts at robust emails after dead calls to MOTO themselves to complain and get them to cancel the PCN.
    MOTO managers, been through a few, just kept saying there is nothing they can do about it basically. Last email is below;

    Dear £%^"%&^*,

My colleague Nadia has passed your case to me for review. I have carefully considered all correspondence and can confirm that the advice previously provided to you is correct.

Parking enforcement at Moto locations, including Chieveley, is managed entirely by Group Nexus / CP Plus Ltd under a contractual agreement. Moto does not have access to their systems and is unable to intervene in the enforcement process.

You have already appealed to Group Nexus and escalated the matter to POPLA, which is the independent and final stage for PCN disputes. We appreciate that you are unhappy with their decision; however, this does not change our process or position. There are no further steps that Moto can take in this matter.

While we understand your frustration, this will be our final correspondence on this issue.

Thank you for taking the time to share your feedback.

    Kind Regards

    Paul Barber-Jones

Frankly. I still think that is absolute rubbish. Its their land, of course they can intervene when a customer is treated unfairly by someone operating on their land!? Or am I being too simple here?

I'm genuinely shocked that they seem just fine with the way their customers are treated. No apologies etc. I have asked multiple times for an email contact to make an official complaint and just had an email like this back from them each time, from a different manager of some sort.

I would reply and say it's not good enough.

    This was my reply.

    "Good morning.

Once again, this is simply not true. Any land owner can intervene with those operating on their land, under contract or not, if its deemed they are acting outside of the agreement or inappropriately towards members of the public and/or customers, as is the case here.
I have asked on multiple occasions for a contact to make an official complaint now about this matter.
Who do I send my complaint to?

May I also ask who your contract is for parking enforcement? As CP Plus Ltd and Group Nexus are two completely separate legal entities. Which one is operating on your land under agreement?

It's quite disgusting that I am getting the same treatment from MOTO as I am from the greedy and unreasonable parking company. "
