Hello all,
I am not technically minded and would like some help in purchasing a reasonably priced printer (black and colour ink tanks)
I don't have WiFi or ethernet or the use of a computer; I do have the use of a Samsung Galaxy smartphone which I access Internet via internet data. My phone also has Bluetooth if this helps?
I am not sure if this is even possible?
I would very much appreciate any help and/or suggestions.
Many thanks

Some questions...
What is your budget?
How often and how much do you want to print?
What are you trying to print from your smartphone?
Photos?
Text documents?

You will need WiFi as a bare minimum. A computer will definitely help.MagTreLarMer said:

My phone (and my Linux laptop) can print directly to my Samsung (now HP) printer using Wi-Fi Direct. The printer basically creates an AP that the phone connects to.I’m a Forum Ambassador and I support the Forum Team on the Credit Cards, Savings & investments, and Budgeting & Bank Accounts boards. Without more info from the OP, I'd suggest looking for a printer with "WiFi Direct" and companion mobile app to help with setup and use. The Canon PIXMA G or Epson EcoTank ET series for example. Printers with 'tanks' tend to be more expensive on initial purchase and are most suitable for high volume printing.0

Bear in mind if you do not use a printer regularly, the print head dries up and the printer becomes useless.
Not sure about the expensive ones.1 -
Certainly true for ink jet type printers. Laser tends to be more stable - my Samsung laser printer snoozes for weeks on end and still prints happily when asked.XzavierWalnut said:Bear in mind if you do not use a printer regularly, the print head dries up and the printer becomes useless.
