I'm hereHoovered lounge and hall wayCleaned the bins, having first emptied all small bins, recycling also out.6 mile walk today it is lovely on the beach early, but the area is full of people, tents, carvans etc etc.Joined too good to go, following other posts here about it, suprised at which local shops seem to be on it, tonight I have 'booked' Morrisons cafe package to collect later on, so should be interesting to see what we get. OH wants the greggs one, only as he likes sausage rolls and pies and is wanting both. (anyone would think I never feed him)This afternoon, is weeding or lounging around in the garden.Breast Cancer Now 100 miles October 2022 100 / 100miles

I'm here, reading along, but as I'm not Flying much I can't really say a lot.I did zest seven oranges though, which was a bit of a Froggie job. Zest all now frozen for use in chocolate pots for the croquet lunch at the end of the month. I might just have to do another test batch in the meantime ....Cats weighed and new food calculated for them. They're permanently starving apparently, so this satiety food might be the answer. The large black cat broke into the bag when it was stashed so we know he likes it!It'll be interesting to see what you get in your TGTG bags Kaz.Better is good enough.4

Morning xx
It seems that 6.10am is the new getting up time at this house - Joey is not impressed.
He wasn't impressed by baby corn yesterday either. Immediately interested and 'oo what's that?' One sniff. And totally ignored it from then on. Oh well. At least he wasn't afraid of it. Well, he wasn't until he wanted a drink and then he wasn't going anywhere near his water pot in case the baby corn attacked him 🤣. I removed the offending item.
Lots of satisfying ticks on yesterday's list. I also picked up my prescription (which was on the calendar to do today), bought lens cleaner (which was on a different list), and raided the pet shop for 'stuff' for Joey (which hadn't even made it out of my head and onto a list yet: iodine block, grit, etc).
Today? I'm up, made my bed, taken my meds, turned over the calendars, completed Strands with two hints, completed Wordle in four, completed Connections with no lives lost, written today's list, set WM swishing with towels and tea towels, and supped two brews.
DS and DDil are picking me up later and we're going for lunch at the pub in the next village. My treat for DDil's birthday which is on Tuesday. I need to wrap her presents ready to hand over. And it's DB's birthday tomorrow so I have his present to wrap too. Then there's no birthdays til November- except mine: and I've already bought the 'to me, from me' present. A globe. To replace the globe i loved that mysteriously disappeared when I was little.
I suppose I ought to get dressed before doing any outside jobs....don't want to upset the neighbours 🙃.
Have a good day.
Rxx

morning all
After some pondering yesterday I hit on a spot to put some collectors items in to photograph them for ebay. They’re bulky and take up room so need them to go. I also decided that some other items (sheets);are probably too risky to list as they are used and probably too worn. I have v. good seller ratings which i’m anxious to protect, especially as I’m getting rid of a lot at present. So they are ready to be taken to CS but I have contacted someone who upcycles first in case they could be used. Anyway lots of items ready fo ebay now.
Flying wise I emptied a drawer, cleaned it out and put contents back tidily apart from stuff which will be sent to an old cow.
washing line dried. fam invited for sunday dinner today. Have washing to dry today and DW to empty.

Hi all
The last week or two have been lost in a fog of anxiety and gloom but I have soldiered on and finally my new HRT seems to be starting to work. I am keeping everything crossed that things are finally getting better.
Yesterday I met up with DS2 for a lovely walk in York and lunch out. Today I have made a big list of things to do around the house and garden while DH is at work.5 -
Washing pegged out.
Pots WUDUPA
Plastics WUDU and recycled
Dishcloth soaking in bleach
Presents wrapped
Large thistle removed from back yard

Hello all. Hope all is well.
I have been trying to stay away from being on line so much. Managed all day yesterday and until now today. Wordle in three. As usual dailies and dog walks, washing etc have been done. Spent yesterday relaxing and today spent the morning baking.
DH is just dishing up lunch and I'll spend the afternoon reading.
See you all on the next thread.Spend less now, work less later.4 -
Afternoon all. Hope your new meds continue to help Yorkshirelass.I wish I could stop waking up at 4.30 ish every morning. It makes for a long day and I'm really tired now, mid afternoon, but I'm not a daytime napper. Not because I'm too good for that! It just makes me feel worse. Probably just part of getting old. I've always been an early riser but it's getting worse. No dog to look after this week but I'm in charge of a gerbil and a guinea pig from tomorrow until Friday. An old gerbil. Please don't let anything happen this weekOtherwise not much else going on. I've managed to clean through the house during the course of the week and had a walk every day (sometimes with a coffee at the end of it) and kept the garden swept and watered. Good enough.Hope everyone's OK x1
