Does anybody know what the date range for the cashback is, is it per calendar month (e.g 1st-31st) or per statement month (e.g from the start of the statement period to end end of it). I did look through the terms but couldn’t work it out!Cheers0

can £5000 pay-in be made from my another current account or has to be a salary/BACS payment by a workplace? If payment can be made from my other accounts then needs to be straight £5000 in one go?

I use my Lloyds account as a hub to pay into my other current accounts each month by standing order. I don't do it in a single go but I have a few different standing orders paying in/out that total above that £5kGhostcrawler said:can £5000 pay-in be made from my another current account or has to be a salary/BACS payment by a workplace? Can anyone confirm if cashback has already been paid to them this month (I'm assuming everyone gets paid on the same day)? I ask because my debit card spend took place on 31st Dec but didn't clear until 2nd Jan - so not sure if this qualified for December or not - it's frustrating that there's no cashback statement available.
So far my cashback payment dates have varied widely:
18th Dec
17th Nov
20th Oct
29th Sep
26th Aug
28th Jul
Are these the same dates for others?0 -
No, not yet for this month. My cashback receipt dates have been between -2 and +1 days of yours.ordnancesurvey84 said:Can anyone confirm if cashback has already been paid to them this month (I'm assuming everyone gets paid on the same day)? Edit: 15.45 I've now received this month's cashback.1 -
Nothing yet here either, although mine might be complicated by the fact I've downgraded to take advantage of the £250 switching offer.
My gut feeling would be that your debit card transaction clearing on 02Jan will mean it will count towards Jan's transactions rather than Dec's though.1 -
I'm not sure about this - I made a transaction on Friday 28th November which cleared on Monday 1st December which seems to have qualified for the cashback I received on 18th December, so I'm hoping it's the transaction date rather than the clearing date which determines it.PRAISETHESUN said:Nothing yet here either, although mine might be complicated by the fact I've downgraded to take advantage of the £250 switching offer.

I guess will have to see whether the cashback materialises between now and the end of the month.1 -
Only reason I suggest that is because that is how the now defunct Halifax Rewards debit card criteria used to work - the transaction had to clear within the specified month, otherwise it counted toward the following month. In either case not much you can do to change it, so wait and see if you get paid I guess. Personally I do my debit card spend at the very start of the month to make sure there's no room for this sort of thing to happen.
EDIT:
Just been paid my £10 cashback this afternoon (believe this relates to Dec spending).1 -
Thanks - my cashback has come through this afternoon as well!
Based on this expenditure it seems Lloyds are using the transaction date rather than the clearance date to calculate cashback.2
