It's all based on the MCC the merchant uses, but as far as I can tell Lloyds haven't published a list of exactly which ones are/aren't acceptable (nor do I expect they will). So I've just had £1 of "Premier cashback" added to my account this afternoon. I made a few different transactions to different places at the start of July, all for different amouts so I would hopefully be able to figure out which transaction was responsible. I believe this relates to a £100 deposit I made into my NS&I Direct Saver account... I did a few more at the start of August, so watch this space I guess to see what else pays out next month!
Interested in the update and if NS&I is eligible for cashback2 -

I've just had more premier cashback paid into my account this arvo, which tallies up with the NS&I debit card deposit I made at the start of August.1 -
Me too! Bit weird that they call it a refund, but all works out nicely1

Thanks for the update. NSAndI is such a faff as I keep getting logged out 95% of the time but I've gave it a go. Anyone tried Revolut as I heard it worked for the Halifax £500 debit card spend which entitled you to their £5 reward .PRAISETHESUN said:TheMod1 said:PRAISETHESUN said:PRAISETHESUN said:Cashback earnt is meant to be paid by the end of the following month according to the T&Cs. ie. cashback due on a transaction from 01Jun could be as late as 31Jul to be paid.I've tested a few of the usual savings accounts accepting debit cards and unsuprisingly nothing has paid cashback yet. So just for my clarity (!), I could pay £1000 into my NSandI direct saver (or, better, Family BSoc) account every month, and get the max £10 cashback on my premier lloyds account?PRAISETHESUN said:TheMod1 said:PRAISETHESUN said:PRAISETHESUN said:Cashback earnt is meant to be paid by the end of the following month according to the T&Cs. ie. cashback due on a transaction from 01Jun could be as late as 31Jul to be paid.I've tested a few of the usual savings accounts accepting debit cards and unsuprisingly nothing has paid cashback yet. I've just had more premier cashback paid into my account this arvo, which tallies up with the NS&I debit card deposit I made at the start of August. The T&C's of the Lloyds Premier cashback say they exclude "financial services transactions". From the little bit of testing I did a few months ago, I know Revolut doesn't work. I suspect other building societies would be the same.NS&I seems to get classified as "Government Services not elsewhere classified" on my Lloyds account which seems to be the bit that sidesteps the restrictions on financial services transactions. I've cycled £1k through NS&I last month and got the full £10 cashback. It's annoying having to tie up the money for a full week, but given I wouldn't normally use my debit card it's an easy way to max out the cashback.4 -
            Wonderful. Thanks for clarifying.0

For me, the last 2 months have been on the 26th and 29th respectively. Not sure if it's the same for everyone else1 -
