Anyway to get cash back by paying money into a savings account with another bank / building society like Yorkshire for example via the debit card or would these be excluded from the cash backs? What would the MCC be?

No, all the bank debit card offers are wise to this: they know they're bank transfers and financial services transactions.RoadToRiches said:Anyway to get cash back by paying money into a savings account with another bank / building society like Yorkshire for example via the debit card or would these be excluded from the cash backs? Re Lloyds Premier 1% cashback - where and when does the earned cashback show in the app? I upgraded 2 weeks ago and can't see the cashback due recorded anywhere. Is it recorded only on the statement? Is it paid on a particular day of the month, or the statement date? Thanks0

I don't think there is a tracking feature, in my limited experience my first cashback was credited on 28/07 re a debit card transaction on 30/06. 28/xx isn't my statement date.keiran said:Re Lloyds Premier 1% cashback - where and when does the earned cashback show in the app? Cashback earnt is meant to be paid by the end of the following month according to the T&Cs. ie. cashback due on a transaction from 01Jun could be as late as 31Jul to be paid.I've tested a few of the usual savings accounts accepting debit cards and unsuprisingly nothing has paid cashback yet. It's all based on the MCC the merchant uses, but as far as I can tell Lloyds haven't published a list of exactly which ones are/aren't acceptable (nor do I expect they will).1

Cashback seems to be working on a calendar monthly basis. My June debit card cash
back was paid into my account on the 28th July - 'Premier cashback' is the reference.3 -
Does the 1% cashback on the Lloyds Premier debit card work when the card is used via Curve?

I made a few different transactions to different places at the start of July, all for different amouts so I would hopefully be able to figure out which transaction was responsible. I believe this relates to a £100 deposit I made into my NS&I Direct Saver account... I did a few more at the start of August, so watch this space I guess to see what else pays out next month!1

To answer my own question, and maybe help others, I can confirm that payments made using Curve card with the Premier Lloyds card linked to it does earn the 1% cashback. Today, I got £1.80 cashback for a total of £180 spent in July, marked as "Premier cashback". .keiran said:Does the 1% cashback on the Lloyds Premier debit card work when the card is used via Curve?3 -

Was that spend which would have been excluded had it not been via Curve?0 -
No. You'd earn the same cashback whether you used the Lloyds Premier debit card itself or the Curve card with the linked Lloyds Premier card . An advantage of using Curve is that you need carry only that one card, with your other visa and mastercard debit and credit cards linked to it . You can change the linked card within the Curve app so that purchases are drawn on whichever underlying card offers a benefit.WillPS said:keiran said:
