I agree, sadly. You should have paid it when you got it or at LBC stage.
You certainly wouldn't enjoy a court hearing v Perky at his 'tame' home court, if he is still alive and at the helm.
This will make you avoid private car parks and read signs very carefully in future, which is a good thing. We all do. The regulars in this forum always look to park on-street except when having to use retail parks (and we read the signs).
Private car parks are cowboy scam territory.
Please could you show the claim form again? It was removed earlier because your picture showed a password or something. Please redact and show it again.
We haven't seen a CPS claim in a decade (honestly!) so I wanted to see how much they're claiming and not in a typed reply, an actual screenshot of the Claim Form please.PRIVATE 'PCN'? DON'T PAY BUT DON'T IGNORE IT (except N.Ireland).

Funny way of legitimately offering a parking space for £100. Not even an Oasis fan for whom it could be a good deal would notice it!

The problem is that CPS offer parking at £100 per day and those red signs are prominent and not sparse or hidden.
The court can't interfere with a contract unless it isn't prominent. Hence why he wins cases.PRIVATE 'PCN'? DON'T PAY BUT DON'T IGNORE IT (except N.Ireland).

Yes they're prominent, but do they have clarity? 90% of signs are clearer than that. It's the old "the sign is big, red and bold therefore it's kosher" argument that judges lap up because they have no alternative to compare to.It's a wheeze at the end of the day - "I've managed to make my contracts stick with my clever alternative offer, whereas everyone else is too stupid to do the same".If they wanted to make a clear, valid offer it would look like the below. But it's the old "the clearer we make things, the more people comply and the less money we make" argument.2
