I filled the paper to give another 14days and stated in intend to defend the claim
How did you do this?  On-line via MCOL or sent by email
There was a form with the claim i posted back by tracked post and they received

does it matter how I sent it back for the next stage ?
So long as they have received it and actioned it.  Check your status on MCOL to make sure it has been acknowledged.  Don't miss your (extended) deadline for your defence.

Looks like Perky wants to do a last hurrah of a few local court cases before he retires. I'd be considering (after defending) making an offer at Mediation stage.

I would NEVER have driven into a car park run by Perky's lot.

I called their number today and they I said never had the letter and they said they will offer me the standard charge of £100 plus the £35 court fee and waive the other charges
they said I have until end of Monday to agree or it will just carry on

Up to you. They will carry on and may well win in court because the sign creates a contract. What would be your defence?

They've picked on you pour encourager les autres. You should never have driven there but I think you know that now. Nobody uses their car parks.

Bearing in mind that their signage is poor and suffers from quickly knocked-up-in-Word syndrome.

Their two offers should be given equal prominence - permit holders park for free OR non permit holders can park for £100.

Their whole signage is a sea of small print and their £100 offer, hidden within, falls foul of Dennings.

Judges are not visual creatures though, so definitely one to show what a clear sign *would* look like in comparison to their word cannon.

But of course, he's already pulled the wool over the eyes of the local judges who will have rubber stamped his dodgy signage in previous cases.

Thank you for your help, I will take your advice and pay the offer they have said
it all goes away then as seems crazy me risking it all on something that I would probably lose due to their signs
