Yes, so adapt the new recent template defence accordingly and file it on MCOL on Monday,  especially because it's probably too late for any postal service   ( which we don't recommend anyway   )

I filled the paper to give another 14days and stated in intend to defend the claim
With a 3 July issue date, you only have until 4pm Monday 4 August, just 4 days away to submit your Defence. If not submitted on time, you're in danger of a Judgment in Default and having to pay the Claimant in full. NEWBIES FAQ Announcement, second post, and the Template Defence Announcement will help you sort out your Defence.

    Don't miss the Court deadline!
Thank you so the template suits all cases and situations then even if they are not in the bpa

Thanks I am just going through the templates on posts and it mentions there is not enough information for the claim is that relevant here as don’t want to put something they can say like “what more did you want” ?
I have checked their website and it’s my car in front of the sign and ticket on but I never replied so they don’t know I am the driver

The POC clearly states that no CPS permit was being displayed,  so because the alleged breach is pleaded you use the standard template defence from the thread near the top of the forum

Post your proposed paragraphs 2 and 3 below for critique

Edit,  read the reply below mine and do what it says

If that person is chirpy,  then should be OK, but it's your decision,  offers like that don't arrive very often

Yep that's very wise advice and I can completely understand.

I can vouch for CC but if unsure I suggest waiting for top expert Couponmad to reply to this thread. She's on holiday at the moment, but still pops in frequently.

    I'm back from holiday.   :)

Not seen a CPS claim in donkeys' years. This is Perky's lot. Well-pleaded case.

    Except for the PO box.
PRIVATE 'PCN'? DON'T PAY BUT DON'T IGNORE IT (except N.Ireland).

You will only win this case on two technical reasons.
The po box may result in a strike out if you can find some relevant case law . But its only slim even though it goes against the relevant CPR.
As this lot don't use Reps for hearings they only attend hearings on single tickets within a certain
They wouldnt attend a hearing in say Brighton or Newcastle. This is not something people are used to on this forum and only applies to a handful of firms but works exceptionally well in low value cases and results in the claimant ( in the many cases ive dealt with ) not paying the hearing fee and the claim being discontinued. This is because it's simply economics/distance.
