  • DD is happy to be a solo traveler and strongly recommends doing a food tour early on as you will find good to eat places along with tourist attractions you may like to revisit.  It also removed the need for at least one meal.

I have accidentally overpaid the credit card which I wanted to close. I received a new card with a 0% interest rate so I'm closing the old card. I have contacted the bank through chat so awaiting a response of when the money will be moved back to my debit account so I can then close the card and the savings account.

That's the overpayment back to my debit account. It was faster than I expected, so that's nice.

Today has been a hobby day, trying to finish a cardigan I started at the beginning of the year. Then dancing class later which I paid for in advance so it's going to be a free day. I also had reduced price pain au chocolate for breakfast, olio bread for lunch and its batch cooked chilli for dinner that I made last week.

No, it's free food that stops supermarket food waste. It's normally things that are best before the date that it is listed. Food Waste Heroes (FWH) collect from the shop, list it on the app and then you collect from them. It's mostly bread and bakery products, or veg but there are loads of things on there.

    Sounds good.

Did you decide what to do on the cc front?

I closed the old one after getting a refund of the over payment. I might see if I can change the statement dates on the 2 cards I have to the 1st of the month and set up a DD to pay off the statement amount each month, alternating which one I use.

I would if were me depending on what you owe set it for a fixed amount. Then if you wanna pay extra do it as a bill payment.

Most credit card companies will let you change the date but there could be additional interest added.

Theres normally always the option to pay

    minimum
    full
or a payment amount of your choosing
