White rabbits 🐇 🐇🐇 xx
Again. So soon! How time flies.
Morning all xx
I'm up, made my bed, dressed, taken my meds, turned over the calendars, packed my lunch bag, eaten breakfast, and supped a brew. And just to show how boring I am predictive text prompts that whole sentence word by word 🤣 I am a creature of routine when I first get up. (That way I can function however I'm feeling.)
It's Friyayyyyyy woot woot. I can smell the weekend. I even look forward to doing my Saturdailies 😇
Have a good day.

Morning. Hope you're all ok.
It's drizzly here this morning so I won't be cutting the grass today. Wordle in four. Will potter about until babysitting this evening. I have just ticked one frog off my list. I've sorted one of my pensions. Admin currently up to date. DH has gone food shopping.
Have a great day everyone.Spend less now, work less later.5 -

Rabbits, rabbits, rabbits. Today would have been my mum’s birthday so it’s the first of the month that I always remember. This morning I need to drop DH at the station for his big day out in the capital city. I will pick him up this evening, or maybe not, depending how the mood takes me 😈. DD is off shortly too, so I will be home alone with the builder who has just arrived. He is a really nice (and quiet) man, so that isn’t a problem.
I have a pile of ironing from yesterday, plus I prewashed some dressmaking material. I really, really need the trousers that it is intended to be. I have the intention to clear out a kitchen cupboard as I have a horrible feeling - having read Iona’s recent posts - that weevils may have taken up residence. There is more flying to do, but let’s not get carried away. I’m looking at you DR, and the washing pile…6 -
Dailies and hoovering done. Workmen here and DH is not back yet so dog walk will have to wait. At least it's dry now.Spend less now, work less later.4

I have emptied the recycling bins, thrown away some flowerheads which have given up their seeds, eaten breakfast, cleared the breakfast things into the DW, S&S'd the kitchen, PUPA in the LR, filed a few papers in my study, and sent Rosie out for her walk with L (she'll get another walk with me this afternoon, down the road to the vets for her annual jab, so that I get some steps in). DH has made breakfast and stripped his bed.
I plan to
- file the rest of the papers on my desk
- strip my bed
- do WMx3, hang out, and hope that the midday rain passes us by; it's due to brighten up again from about 2.00
- shop for food for the coming week
- finish tidying the utility, now that DH has removed all his stuff back into the mancave after I moaned at him yesterday
- make scones and some form of cake/flapjack because I'm taking K and the girls out tomorrow and plan to have a picnic lunch rather than pay 4 times as much in the café - I'll still buy coffee, though! (but I'll take our own mugs for the discount)
Better get started. Happy Friyayyyy everyone! xxx5 -
I also checked kitchen cupboards. There were weevils in the plain flour and oats. Yuk.Dog has been walked. Like Rosie, it was cut short by noises she didn't like.Spend less now, work less later.6

Morning all,
My list for today
Go over to the stables and check on the horse
Keep checking for exam results (they are due today, but I'm not sure what time) I failed one assessment by 1 mark, so I have emailed to plead to uni that I can still start and do my resit.
Do paid stuff
Check the diary and make sure everything is in for this month
Check banking and direct debits
Phone the vet and pay the invoice from this week
Do some work on decorating DS's bedroom Work in Progress
Defrost the freezer
Update Mr T order for delivery tomorrow
Laundry x 2 loads
Make a list of chores that the kids are taking care of. We have decided that, since they both have expensive hobbies, they can do chores in exchange for their costs/fees being covered.
Encourage DS to clean the fridge
Take DD over to the stables so she can ride and do the tasks that need to be done
I think that is everything that I need to tackle today. I hope everyone has a lovely Friday.

3 bags of flour thrown. Cupboard completely emptied, cleaned with vinegar and everything else checked twice before going back in. Disgusting weevils. It really riles me when we work so hard at having zero food waste.
Moving on…I have changed DD’s bedding. Wm x 2 done, washing out on the line with one eye on the grey sky. Dw run and then emptied. Still To Do intentions - HHI and maybe HH Admin, but that depends on when the builder finishes up. Any excuse to avoid the admin.

Afternoon. I just checked my flour - don't really know what I'm looking for but it just looks like flour so hopefully all is well. Gave the shelves a wipe while I was there but I really need to pull everything out. Maybe after I take the dog out. I might make a cake in a few days to use up what's there. DH can't have cake any more and my son is visiting on Thursday so I could make something and palm it off onto him. If it's here, I'll eat it.I've done two loads of washing today and dried it outside. All put away. Went to chemist to fetch DH's tablets this morning. Taken the dog out twice, out again soon. He doesn't go far but walks slower than a slow thing so it takes forever. I love him though. He's going home next Tuesday.I spent an hour in the garden, deadheading and sweeping up. Some of the pots have saucers under them to help with the dry hot weather we've had but they got full up with yesterday's rain and were pretty gruesome so I've washed them all and it looks much nicer. Still water dripping from the pots when I moved the saucers so I think it was a good call.Hope everyone's OK x5

I completed all the tasks on my list (and re-made my bed) except for the baking, but I shall have time to do that in the morning. I ran out of steam after pulling up weeds from along the drive.
Off to bed now. Hope everyone gets a good night's sleep.
