(one left outside, was attacked by a gust of wind and didn’t survive)
Anyway dishcloth is soaking in bleach so that’s flying.

Got up and fed the cats. Swept my bedroom this morning. Solved a family history problem. Then to the library by bus to conduct a meeting. Then shelved about 100 books. Made plans for a remodeling of a room at the library that will be our bookstore next year. Came home and fed the cats. Then put out the trash. Probably the best I've done for the last week.7

Morning all xx
I'm up, made my bed, showered, dressed, packed my lunch bag, completed Strands with three hints (and still not convinced that's a word!!!), completed Wordle in four, completed Connections with no lives lost, eaten breakfast and I'm supping my brew.
I can't believe what a difference 2 x 15 minutes over the weekend has made to the back yard - I have a nearly full garden waste bin to show for my efforts. 😊
I'll feed the birds and put out the recycling before I set off for the paid stuff.
Have a good day.

Morning all,
Budge up on that naughty step, HB, can I join you?
Round, we will get you doing garden 15 minute MADs yet! Hope Pops is ok, I guess it’s being so stubborn that keeps him going.
Lovely flowers, Iona.
That sounds like a productive day, Weenancy.
The vague plan for today is to fly in the bedroom after I have put a coat of paint on the downstairs toilet walls. This is assuming the ceiling passes inspection first. I need to take a parcel to the PO, change the bedding, maybe even clean the shower, but that might be one step too far. Channelling my inner Scarlett, like HB.5 -
So relieved to find that I'm not the only Flylady who has an inner Scarlett O'H. Not sure she'd have felt at her best wearing a hoodie, teeshirt and sloppy trews as I am, and which I fully intend to wear for my extra shift at the F'bank, but then I'm not sure SO'H would have been seen dead in a Foodbank anyway.Up early, walked the dog, breakfasted and did all the things and am now ready to leave in good time (by 9.30) so I don't hold Belovéd up. He's a good bloke but one of my greatest sins would be to keep him waiting when he's ready to go, so over the years I've learned it's best to be ready beforetimes. Now on to what is my usual first thing to wake my brain up - Strands (I agree, Americanisms are not actual words), Connections (currently not making them very often) and Wordle. Yesterday in six. Double Vs. What can you do?Flying - threw some things in the bin.Better is good enough.4

it’s an education…wordle et al. skin of my teeth with wordle…phew, one hint on strands and two connections. also lots of shouting at the tv for only connect last night - nearly TV ready now, not that I’ll apply.
new Fence being installed today and thanks to mum I have the ££ to pay for it. Doubt the old fence would have survived another winter.
WM x 1 but I’ll have to take the back line down first as it’s attached to the fence. The one by the path will be fine.

Busy day so far. Bedding changed but will be washed tomorrow as rain forecast here today, dailies, dog walk, sofa covers freshened, meeting attended asd I've spent three hours reconcreting between the slabs on our small patio. It hasn't actually rained yet but my plans to cot the grass will have to wait as I'm worn out. Planning to do puzzles and read my book.Spend less now, work less later.5

It drizzled here for most of the morning, then there was a 2-hour window without any rain, in which I managed to walk Rosie, back to the drizzle, and then we had quite heavy rain around teatime. The water butt should be nicely full again, after I watered all the pots yesterday evening! Of course, it still hasn't made any difference under the trees and larger shrubs, but the plants in the open are looking decidedly happier.
Other than that, I've hoovered through, mopped the kitchen floor, dealt with more flies and flour mites, done some more bits of admin, cancelled my day out with a friend tomorrow because she has a medical appointment, and struggled with Wordle and Connections and needed 4 hints to finish Strands. DH had an echocardiogram this afternoon and is booked in for a big blood test on Tuesday, then we shall be waiting to hear from his cardiologist as to whether anything more can be done atm, or he will discharge him.
Off to watch Sewing Bee now, then early to bed (I hope).

Good evening, I've not done much flying today as I have been on a day trip with DH and the kids today. We took the ferry to one of the islands where we did some crabbing and went for a walk, and did some window shopping. We had lunch and then relaxed on the beach with an ice cream before getting the ferry back.
Once we got back home, we went to check on the horse, feed the dog and cat, before taking DS to his drama group. I got a pleasant surprise when I got back home and checked my post, as it appears I'm due a payment that I didn't know about (not a massive amount, but better than 0). Now back home from DS's drama group, I think it is time for an early night as I have an interview tomorrow morning.
Apologies, I haven't caught up with today's posts. I hope everyone is doing ok and having a good week. Hugs to those who want/need them.5 -
been a funny day. new fence installed, payment sent. I had sent a box of bits and bobs, including fashion jewellery and ladies watches, to and old moneyed bovine site and i’ve been pleasantly surprised by the offer. i’ve sent half of it to my sister. did some strimming round tge back and sprayed weed killer on the front. Frogs dealt with.made curry using leftover beef…had it for tea and 4 portions in freezer. Frogs included new vacuum filters so must bin old ones.
