Are EV and ToU tariffs unfair to other electricity customers?

I would say that in the medium and long term it is something that should be addressed, but in the short term it should have no impact on the availability of these ToU tariffs for those that have fully connected smart meters.Qyburn said:Regarding fairness, what do you think about people excluded from these tariffs because they don't have WAN coverage for their smart meter?0 -

They are just introducing a problem that doesn't need to exist.Because the suppliers are all moving to Market-wide Half-Hourly Settlement (MHHS), so it makes sense to align what they are being paid by customers with the way they in turn pay for the energy consumed.
