UKPA - Moorside legal - Money claim online

Hi everyone.
Worked on a building site in metoer retail park, derby, last year. single road going through with an entrance/exit each end and main car park to the left, building site fenced off to the public and no parking signage put up within the confines of the building site. ANPR on entry and exit of the road, not the car parks. Building company was supposed to record and whitelist registration details but never bothered and washed their hands of it.
Subcontractor company said to use appeals process (rejected by ukpa of course) and was given an email address for landowner but this avenue never saw a response.
UKPA sent letters and the advice on here was to ignore. The letters are on their 3rd legal firm now i think as first 2 gave up. Moved house this month and old landlord dropped off some letters, one of which is a moorside legal claim form through moneyclaim.gov.uk (form N1SDT).
The letter is dated 14th july and i have the full/partial/deny response pack. I've also received calls from moorside claiming i owe them a full £820 now (i was there a full week, i got tickets for 4 days and the money claim only states the dates for 3 days, 29/07/2024-30/07/2024). The lady on the phone even sounded pretty sympathetic about this and recommended to deny the claim so it gets passed to their litigation team (her words).
Ive got a couple of days within the 14 day window to respond so need some help with a short time frame crash course for what to respond with. I've gathered from here not to return the physical form via royal mail and do it online. But do i need to go into particulars or copy a template?
Many thanks
Chris

I see that they are claiming interest from 28th July, even though the first PCN wasn't issued until 29th July.
(The claim is for 4 PCN's but only two dates are given; I'd suggest that this is one for CL, especially given the failure to specify the breaches).1 -

I personally don't get involved in critiquing court case Defences/Witness Statements, so unable to help on that front. Please don't ask. .

Okay, i've registered for MCOL and filled out the AOS with defend all of this claim as the option. Am i right in thinking this takes me up to 28 days from the date of service (14th july 2025) to send in a valid defence?0
