Looking at it again, they've given you out of date email addresses. Flipping useless.

There is no CCBC any more. I'd be surprised if you got a working auto receipt confirmation for your AOS?

The correct ones are in the black box shown in the Template Defence thread.

    Hi

I’ve now spoken directly to the County Court Business Centre (CCBC) and confirmed that my case is not an OCMC (Online Civil Money Claims) case — it’s a standard CCBC claim. This explains why the claim wouldn’t show up on MCOL, even with the correct claim number and password.

The CCBC agent couldn’t explain why MCOL access doesn’t work for this claim, but they confirmed I could acknowledge the claim by email. I’ve now done that, and my AoS has been submitted. My deadline to file the defence is 15 August 2025. They provided me with an email address.

No such place. They are the CNBC these days.

my case is not an OCMC (Online Civil Money Claims) case

This explains why the claim wouldn’t show up on MCOL, even with the correct claim number and password.
No it doesn't! That clerk is hopelessly wrong.

    it’s a standard CCBC claim..
Of course. As per our guide. No parking cases use the OCMC. Every single private parking claim is via the CNBC using the MCOL system.

Yours included. Your case is no different.

My deadline to file the defence is 15 August 2025. They provided me with an email address.

Last time they gave you out of date email addresses. This time who knows what email address they gave you(?) and they've given you the wrong defence deadline. After doing the AOS you have extended your defence deadline to 33 days from the date of the claim and you told us:

    Claim issued: 17 July 2025

Your defence deadline is in fact 19th August.

I think your password works and you were either:

    - looking on the wrong system/page. Maybe you tried to log into the OCMC page which is wrong?

    Or

    - putting in one digit wrong with the password. Usual mistakes are reading a lower case 'l' (ell) as a capital I (eye) or number one. Or a zero as if it's a capital O.

Which email address did this unhelpful person give you this time? We already provide all posters with all the right email addresses in a black box in the first post of the Template Defence thread.

Did he/she get that right at least?

Did he/she tell you that you can just email a signed & dated PDF defence as long as you add headers with the parties and claim number and at the bottom, sign under a SoT?

Like this example (see the headers and the SoT before the signature & date) only don't copy their defence: we now use an updated form of words for the actual defence:

    Hi

    She gave this email address:

aos.cnbc@justice.gov.uk to acknowledge the claim and ask for an extension.

To submit a defence (with no guidance as to what to send ) the email she said is

    claimresponses.cnbc@justice.gov.uk - claim response

I am using the following website to sign into the money claim portal

    https://www.access.service.gov.uk/login/signin/creds

It uses my Government Gateway ID to log into the MoneyClaim website.

My credentials are fine, but nothing comes up when I enter the Claim no and password.

Do you mean the password doesn't work? Are you using the webpage the claim form itself tell you to use?

I can successfully log into the money claim website, but each time I enter the Claim number, nothing comes up.

I finally got a reply today from

    MCOLITassistance@justice.gov.uk

They told me the basic IT things to check and then ended with this

    "
The claim pack password is system generated and cannot be re-set, if problems persist you can submit your response by e-mail.

Acknowledgement of service to : AOS.CNBC@justice.gov.uk

Part admission or Defence to: ClaimResponses.CNBC@justice.gov.uk"

I have already sent an email to the AOS, but not had any reply yet.

You don't get a reply to an AOS.

This makes no sense. Back to basics: are you sure you are logging into MCOL?

We had one last month where @ChirpyChicken realised the newbie was logging into something else, or searching for claims they had made (none) as opposed to claims received.
