Have I misread the washing machine?0

I think that's saying 52kWh for 100 cycles?Which would effectively be "per year" if you're running it twice a week. However, it does vary depending on which cycle you use. I think you need to stop worrying about the meter, when you list things like pumps american fridge / freezer, underfloor heating and oil filled radiators it's not surprising your usage is high.6

The oil filled rad in garden office/hut could be expensive if used a lot.
Definitely one for a tapo110 or similar once restart use.
An air to air standalone reverse air con unit might be an option to get some COP savings - depending on construction4 -
It all adds up. You could save a lot by installing solar panels and a battery and switching to an EV tariff (one that makes the house cheap too). You should be hanging the washing outside for 8 months of the year and using the 30 degree eco cycle where possible.1

Just going by what I found when I had a smart meter installed highest usage was the shower and the kettle.
Re the shower even by Combi presumably has a pump. The pump is run by electric?
I'm now in and out like a fiddler's elbow unless it's a treat.
Kettle, is it a quick boil? Is the household each making individual drinks during the day?
I now have a gas hob one.
My bill halved.
And even in winter the fridge and freezer come on a lot more than I thought and are seldom oped during the day.
The house is warm both seasons.
Forgive me if I'm talking out of my nether regions but who knows.I can rise and shine - just not at the same time!

Electric showers that heat up the water are definitely guzzlers! (I don't know about other types.)1 -
Thank you all so much for all your help and advice. It really is appreciated. We have a new bill showing 9 days electricity using 141.01 kWhI have been researching air to air air conditioning units. Never even realised this was available.I used 30 degree cycle on washing but higher for bedding. We must use the dryer less!Kettle, I have stopped filling to the top since about Feb. We also have a coffee machine. The combi powered shower is interesting. I have noticed a spike on our energy use around the time the shower is used. I know it is using electricity to spark as it doesn’t have a pilot light. I never even thought of the pump. Is this something separate to the boiler or part of it? Certainly something to look into.
the fridge freezer details I have found. See photo. I guess with it rated F that it’s a guzzler!0 -
Here's a thread about air-to-air heatpumps. They can also be used for air conditioning. The cooling ability means that they are not eligible for the government grant, but this may possibly change.1

The combi boiler we have is the
Greenstar 30i which I think has a pump 30kw
