  • djbd1973,
you may still want to contact Orange for them to confirm contact details of who they are billing for.

from g* p*'s email address i found the service provider is Switchfire ltd

What I want to know is how the Orange dealers who cold-call us to
upgrade know a) we're on Orange and haven't ported out, b) we're due an
upgrade (invariably they're wrong) and c) our names.

I was called three times today by the same company on my Line 2 to offer
me an upgrade. The call came from 08700 671667, and I told them during
the first call to 'go away and learn about the TPS', but they rang (with
    silent calls) another twice.

Finally, on the subject of my spam premium rate text messages, I am
having trouble making contact with one of the senders, Switchfire.
They're ignoring my calls, I can't find an address for them, and ICSTIS
    hasn't even acknowledged my complaint.

I think it's time to tackle Orange... In my book, taking something
    without permission is theft.
Where do Switchfire' content supplier' (CLQT.COM ...eg) get their victim's mobile numbers?

  • I was getting these messages from the same company too! very frustrating!

I did a bit of digging and all you have to do is text the word stop to 61115 and you should get a text back confirming you have opted out of all future 'marketing' texts from them!
