DCB legal Letter of claim

Hello
Im so sorry, I've found lots of posts on here about this subject but I'm still a little confused.
I previously received several letters asking for payment of £170, by DCBL, for parking or stopping in a disabled bay but ignored them as advised by a friend.
I've now received a Letter of Claim from DCB legal, saying I need to respond or pay within 30 days.
Please can I ask the best way to respond?
I don't know if I did park/wait in a disabled bay, so I'm not sure what my dispute should be?
I'd really appreciate some clarity & help.

check the newbees thread for the relevant response.
have you complained to the car park owner?
by the way - where was this and which PPC?2 -
The claim is on behalf of Met Parking Services Ltd, but I've not heard from them but guessing they're the owner?
It was in a McDonald's carpark, not sure what PPC means, sorry.
Bit out of my depth.

I've read the newbees thread but still confused.0

PPC = Private Parking Company ( Met )
They won't own the car park - they just infest it.
Complain to McDonalds - ask them to get Met to cancel it.
Otherwise as per the newbees thread reply to them with the template email3 -

I'm going to try sending them the template email & also ask the landowner to cancel. I'm not sure who the landowner is, as carpark is used by several outlets, will check the signs ASAP.
After that, I'm not sure if I will just pay as the rest of the newbie thread about court sounds scary & confusing.2 -
Ask McD's to cancel it.PRIVATE 'PCN'? DON'T PAY BUT DON'T IGNORE IT (except N.Ireland).
CLICK at the top or bottom of any page where it says:
Home»Motoring»Parking Tickets Fines & Parking - read the NEWBIES THREAD2 -

So find out who does own it and complain to them, or more likely, complain about it to the retail park management company or landlord
Do not pay !1 -

This should help, as should posting the location or retail park details on here

MET Parking are only a contractor working on site, definitely not the owner, plus McDees won't be the owner either, you want the retail park management company that are involved in the day to day running and management, and getting rents paid by the tenants2
