@pennypincin. Hang on in there. Sometimes the weight is  just stubborn and sometimes we feel low and find it much harder to be disciplined. You are not alone. We are here for you. That's why I love this group it is so good to share failures and triumphs. Ignore the People who are clicky and the ones  who make nasty comments. They just don't have anything to light up their lives and have nothing better to do.

I started at 19 stone 5 lb when I weighed myself 3 weeks ago, and when I jumped on the scales yesterday I was down to 18 stone 4 lb which is 1 stone 1 lb loss in 3 weeks. I want to be down to 16 stone by my birthday on September 6th.

Penny I can only second what the others have said, it sounds like you have a lot going on sometimes the diet has to give for a while.  I strongly believe that we can end up going around in a vicious circle, I know I do, depressed because of my weight rather than making me try harder to lose it makes me eat more and around I go again   I hope I don't offend if I say I'm not sure if it is very Christian for people to treat you this way in the church and you speak to the vicar/minister?  Please know we don't judge here if you don't feel like weighing in some weeks don't feel pressured to do so.

Thanks Jenny yes my operation is booked for Thursday, not looking forward to the op but I am looking forward to being pain free and being able to go walking again.  I hope you saw a doctor at your appointment? 

Soontobeoap you're doing great, let us know when we can celebrate a normal BMI 

A telephone appointment with the pharmacist at my GP surgery this morning following my annual blood tests gain with a finger wagging, it will need redoing in three months so I need to do better, I did say I would be recovering from surgery so eating would depend on my mood!

I forgot to post yesterday. I think the extra food on holiday and the lack of exercise and lots of ice cream last week while it was hot, has caught up with me. +2lb for me this week

@Brambling Unfortunately I have to say + 1.5 lbs this week. Not really sure why but.... Will have to try and get it back down by next week. Today I have done 15000 steps but I also had fish & chips on Brighton seafront on my free day (first fish and chips for a very long time!) . No evening meal though.
