Good morning. Pleasantly surprised this morning with just a 1/2lb gain after my holiday. All the walking (and carrying my DGD) has at least kept the gain down. Not a round number but could I be added aiming for 6.5lb please, aiming for the half stone point.LBM in April 17 - Starting card debt £33554

First week weigh in - 1.5lbs loss to report. Am very happy with this, I think it's due to doing lots of outside chores! The next couple of weeks I'm at my partner's house, so hopefully fewer chores. We're also going to a wedding at the weekend and have plans to eat out with family too.
Exercise plan - 3 runs a week, plus weights/cardio workouts. I've had to buy a set of heavier weights so something is going right!
I find it easier in the summer to lose weight. It's just keeping it off in the winter that's a problem...

I've weighed in at 17 stone 9 pounds this morning.
A bit of an oops after doing well last week.
I must admit that I'd only done well due to trying slimming world, struggling with it as it's not quite fitting my life and overindulging on the wrong thing.
Then I get stuck in eating the wrong thing and can't stop.
It's a cycle I've been doing the past few months that has got to stop, for me especially as I find slimming world okay but just isn't working well for me personally.
I need to somehow learn to eat well and maybe cook from scratch more.Decluttering campaign 2023

Im the complete opposite. I always seem to feel hungrier in the summer and less inclined to do anything active. I havent gone for a run since it started getting warmer!Pixie_Cosmo said:Exercise plan - 3 runs a week, plus weights/cardio workouts. Lovely start to the quarter guys lots of yellow halos 👏👏 Charlies_tribe a half pound gain after a holiday is great 🙂
I tend to eat more in the winter, I'm sure my body thinks it needs to stocked up to hibernate 🐻
Penny SW worked for me a few years ago I lost 4 stone then after my mum died, I had a operation and I was made redundant I stopped going and put on 5 stones slowly over the next 3 years 🫣 I saw something recently about one of the weight lost jabs which said a very high number of people put all the weight back on within 18 months as they haven't learnt new habits.Ihope everyone has a good weekLife shrinks or expands in proportion to one's courage - Anais Nin5 -
You've definitely hit the nail on the head for me brambling.
It's changing the old habits and challenging why I'm eating like I am and have been.Decluttering campaign 2023

Minus 1lb for me this week please. Probably boosted by being less hungry over the weekend due to feeling unwell but the lowest weight reached for several weeks.4

I'm intrigued to see how the weightloss jabs situation unfolds. I think they must be amazing for people who need to lose a lot of weight for health reasons, but struggle to by dieting (for whatever reason).
I wonder how much support users get for learning new habits? Otherwise like most diets it'll all go back on again when they stop, like you say @Brambling, if they just go back to eating the same way. Are they expecting to stay on those jabs forever?4
