Old Style Weight Loss Challenge - 3rd Quarter 2025

I'd like to lose 8 lb - just to get to the whole stone no pound mark.
But I'm going to try to concentrate on getting more protein inside me and to build muscle strength. So I may not actually lose in pounds. With a current BMI of 21.4 I shouldn't worry.

@Brambling
Still here and still the same weight or near enough. So I'm mid stone at a tidge over 7 pounds so want to get that down to zero, i.e. the stone mark.
So mark me for 7 pounds.
I'm thinking if this heat continues I'll lose it all simply due to sweating!!! That and the salads which seem to be the only thing I'm "cooking" for dinner.I’m a Forum Ambassador and I support the Forum Team on Debt Free Wannabe, Old Style Money Saving and Pensions boards. Brambling they were delicious, I cook them with fresh mint, alas no butter or salt on them.
As for senior nurse who thought I'd had surgery for weight loss, I had thought about a complaint but don't think it will do any good, I know that's not the point but, in my area, care is so bad it would be a waste of my time. This is what has messed me up, being told to eat more when all I had to do is not fast to even out my blood levels.

I say this because one of the errors on my medical records was that I could not tolerate a particular medicine. I had never been prescribed it and was concerned that if it had been appropriate in the future and a medic had checked my records they would not have administered the necessary medicine. So I raised it as a question as to why. The next time I saw my GP she began with an apology - had ticked a box about not tolerating as there was no box for "not indicated". I'm not finished with this though, as at least one of the places which officially record my history it is still shown. It seems it is easier to add to a record than to correct it.5 -
@General_Grant, the error was by a Senior nurse at a hospital, re weight loss surgery, I was talking about this with Mr Pepper last night and it's probably worth putting it to the Pals service.
I used to train colleagues, I'd to make sure they used to have a look at previous case history as good practice, so errors don't come back to bite you on the bum, looks like sloppy working is not being addressed, along with long waiting lists.MFW - 01.10.21 £63761 01.10.22 £50962 01.10.23 £39979 01.10.24 £27815. 01.01.25. £17538
