    Good morning,

I have a loss of 0.5 lbs to report in total for the last two weeks. At least it's off and not on. Keep at it people - I'm also sick of seeing "move more, eat less" as a response to press articles. If it was that easy.....

Said by people who have never had any real weight issues, (more than a couple of stone to lose).  I've read a paper by a university who said this is a load of old crud, many other factors involved and it's just something people find acceptable to say instead of calling someone fat and lazy.

i was once rather condescendingly asked by a not slim asthma nurse if I knew why I was overweight (I think she may have used the fat word!) I was more than a little sarcastic with her. It didn't help that when I did lose four stone rather than saying well done all she told me was I needed to lose more. Luckily she had left before I put it all on again  :'(

About 25 years ago I met a friend of a friend who on our first  meeting was shocked when I won at trivial pursuit because she was 'surprised I was intelligent because of my size'  😡
