I edited my post to add that HMRC's manuals also confirm what I said.

I wasn't trying to help the OP. I was simply correcting your incorrect comment in case it was ever relevant for anyone, and they were searching and found your comment.

So your saving its possible to receive unlimited £50 vouchers from your employer (not cash or cash voucher).

    I'm not so sure.
If your right, then fine (I'm not so sure that's what it says in EIM20000)

EDIT: please no one follow my advice on this thread.

Yes, it is technically possible. Obviously, if an employer does too much of it, HMRC are likely to argue that it is clearly in recognition for the employee's services, and therefore does not fall within the trivial benefits exemption.

I don't know what you are quoting, as EIM20000 is the contents page for the entire benefits code!

The relevant manual page is EIM21864.

In fact, in EIM21868, HMRC say:

"The vast majority of employers will only provide their employees with benefits that are not linked to particular services on an irregular or infrequent basis. There is a cost to the employer of providing such benefits and the employer will want to be careful in managing its employment costs. Therefore, if an employer provides their employees with benefits on a regular or frequent basis you should consider whether they are linked to the employee’s services."
