For the moment, submit by email as there is confusions about how much of the new template defence will fit into the defence box on MCOL.
It fits fine @Coupon-mad just needs any " or <> removing from the text, ive logged quite a few using it the last two days

Yep, quite a few reports over last couple of days saying the same or similar, fortunately, my advice was only posted 3-4 times and I have now, based on further knowledge rescinded that advice.
  • I got this letter today - so it means that the claim wasn't struck out 😒

Well that was never gonna happen!

Please tell us that you didn't email a short unsigned defence? Hopefully you put it in on MCOL.

Secondly, pretty please if you want to be part of the push to change things in future:

It's very important that people like you - struggling with aggressive court claims for no justified reason - tell the Government that:

    a) you have no faith in POPLA or the IAS and that there must be the SINGLE APPEALS SERVICE that the Parking (Code of Practice) Act 2019 *almost* promised. That will give a real option to resolve disputed cases out of court.

b).  THAT THE ENRICHMENT OF 'DEBT RECOVERY FEES' MUST BE COMPLETELY BANNED. DISPUTED CASES ARE NOT SOLVED BY DEMANDING MORE MONEY AND ENGINEERING A 'PAYMENT PLAN'.

c). Tell them about your experiences.

Do it this month or in August at the latest pleeease! We will discuss it on that thread.

Of course I submitted it on MCOL.
Thanks for the link, I will definitely leave my response asap.
  • Hi there,
If someone could please advise me, I'd be grateful.
I have received an email from Gladstones with their questionnaire filled out as they are going to proceed with the claim. I'm in the middle of changing addresses as I'm moving out on Monday so my question is - I am going to receive the questionnaire from the court by email or by post? I cannot see anything new on MCOL. I've notified the court via email about the address change already, but had no acknowledgment.
Any idea how long it takes to get the questionnaire and what the submission deadline is?
I'm in too much stress right now with lots of things haplening at the same time...
    Many thanks in advance!

Do I need to respond to their email below regarding mediation? I've already sent an email to cnbc case progression about the change of address.
