Air India's pilot training and maintenance procedures haven't changed since you booked your tickets. If you booked the tickets, you should still be happy to fly with them. The comments I post are my personal opinion. While I try to check everything is correct before posting, I can and do make mistakes, so always try to check official information sources before relying on my posts.0

Yes, I would.

Android07 said:I have a flight booked from Oman with air India next month. Both aircrafts will be the 737's. Seeing how their Dreamliner crashed, I do not wish to fly with them. Perhaps it was either pilot error or lack of proper mainteanace. The fare is £95 non-refundable. If I cancel, I get only £15 back.Should I do a chargeback / cancel and go through my travel insurance or accept it as a loss and stick with the £15 refund?0

Furthermore, seeing how Iran & Israel are at it, maybe I should consider avoiding flying through the Middle East too for the moment?0

It seems rather odd - at least to me - that the OP is suddenly wary of flying on a 737 when the fatal crash involved a 787.
I doubt chargeback or travel insurance will be an option.
I think the OP's comments about possible causes of the crash should be removed.0 -
As touched on, life involves risk. By not going on a holiday you might be in your house when it burns down.0
