    I've had Pobs ;D ;D
    maybe it's a lancs thing then..................we never called it pobs ..............we used to have it before school when we couldn't afford porridge or just to use up the bread ;D

    what I really liked and still do is bread and cold milk,sprinkled with sugar lovely ;D

    the same thing really but didn't have to use gas or lecky to heat the milk ,so moneysaving :D

    when you make rice pud slice some apple on top

    or some squares of buttered bread butter side up and bake

    rice pud for your hips

    1 oz rice pint of skimmed milk

    2 oz splenda or sweetner

    grated nutmeg or cinnamon

    (who has grated nutmeg anyway)

    I don't think nutmeg comes grated,
    I keep a few nutmegs in a jar and grate it as and when I need it, use the part of your cheese grater with the fine round holes.
