MMM Sorry to hear that, I have been holding DHs hand through months of job hunting and I know how tough it is.  On Monday he starts a job that he really wants to do and I am sure something else will come along for you. 

On my own in the office today which meant doing my assistants job as well as my own, so I don't feel like I achieved much.  I have a Teams meeting at 7pm tonight so flying has been limited to a quick hoover while DH made stir fry.

Oh and the endless saga of out of stock HRT patches continues.  I have eventually secured a 3 month supply after a lot of drama.

Better take myself off to the office.

Order of service proof read, the sentence containing the word ‘invite’ has been amended so that ‘invite’ is now a verb, not a noun.  We have 7 qualified teachers in the family, one of whom teaches secondary English so we are picky 🤣

Carpets paid for, DD loaned me a bit so my ISA can rest easy.  

It is too hot.

Sorry about the job MMM.  Hopefully something else comes along which is actual better.  

Garden again today, it was hot again.   My sugarsnap peas turned up this morning so have mixed more compost and got them planted in tubs.  I've been potting on the patio table much to the disgust of our cat, who is certain the table belongs to him, and stormed off in a huff to teach me a lesson.  My potting shed is in chaos, its been stuffed over the winter, and needs bottoming.  DH vacuumed the ceiling for me a couple of days ago (my neck doesn't like overhead stuff now) so I'm going to make a start tomorrow if the weather holds.

Just did the basics indoors with the kitchen. DW, WM and FUPA from yesterday.  DH's new curtains arrived so we got them hung.  I'm leaving them to drop for now, they will need steaming and the headers adjusted a bit, they always do. I've only just cleaned the window as we had new blinds, so avoided that job.

I seem to have a few 🐸 mounting up.  I still haven't ironed my quilt cover.  I changed the bedding yesterday and just threw a sheet on under the quilt, and then the spread over.  Whatever is the world coming too!!!!   This is getting to be a habit I ended up ironing both covers together last time.

Eek!   That's a pet hate of mine (one of many).  Along with 'can I get a tea...'  No!

Glad the med's side effects are no longer with you Valli.  My current grammatical irritant is the mix up between the nouns 'ground' and 'floor'.  When did they become interchangable?

My new little greenhouse made it to outside, finally, seven weeks after my birthday and now has my tomato voluntter seedlings in it, along with a volunteer chilli.  We don't use or eat chillis so where that came from is a mystery but it's alive and thriving so I'll give it a chance and if it comes to anything I'll give it to someone.

I'm gradually working my way through little muddles all over the house now that it looks fairly civilized.  I can't say it's been dusted but thats my bete noir so it can wait until I feel inspired.

Strands with no hints, one line on Connections so far and Belovéd got Wordle on my fifth line looking over my shoulder.  Hmm.

I remembered, during the night, that I have a final phone call with oncology today.  Shame I didn’t remember two days ago then I could have had the blood tests I’m supposed to have had before the appointment.

Hardly surprising, that with the number of balls I’m juggling, I dropped one.

Towels washed in the hope they’ll dry before the forecast rain.  Recycling out including the large amount of cardboard I forgot to put out last time.

Good morning all, It's a late start for me today as I overslept ( hate when I do that as I feel that I'm chasing my tail all day)

My list for today
Do 10 minutes on the exercise bike
Put laundry in the TD, accidentally left it in the WM overnight
Check the bank to see if the refund is back from the oil company
Do paid stuff
Do the maths coursework that is in the diary for today
Do the English coursework that is in the diary for today
Add another 200 words to the English essay (I need to try and get this completed as a teacher friend has offered to read over it for me)
Clear the clutter that is on top of the drawers in the bedroom
Empty the kitchen bin
Hoover the living room and hall
Remind DD to take the dog for a walk
Take DS to this musical theatre group
Go and get birthday cards for DD whilst DS is at his group
Do 10 minutes on the exercise bike

I think that is everything that I need to get done today. Hope everyone has a lovely Thursday.
