I just think that if these companies are operating in this immoral way then why shouldn't they get to a lesson? They can spend their time and effort over £20.

The chances of me losing when I've clearly read in many places that it's a minimum of five minutes... and I'm sure this is with my situation where, there is no pay and display.....but you pay at the bar etc... then you really think I'm going to lose over 10 seconds ...I'm willing to gamble.

I also found out they have to pay to get more details from the DVLA and they want to offer me the £20 because they haven't looked into the case and they are just saying to settle it so therefore they are not admitting anybody is in the wrong or anybody is in the right but the client has asked them to cancel..

Now, as a person with a financial background career,  I understand their weird logic but

then if you haven't looked into the case then why are you trying to charge me £20 when the client told you to cancel...You need to keep good relationships with them....they don't care... It's just an automatic letter that gets sent as soon as the client logged into their own portal to cancel the charge. That's me sitting back and looking at this properly

Eg what's the cost of sending out one letter and the cost of getting my details from the DVLA...max £3-£4...

But no, let's just call it 33% of the total amount that you're asking for in the first place.

Anyway, I've got the letter today. Bearing in mind their 14 days is from when the first letter was sent out, not even clearly stated.

Not to be that guy* but Mars bars are, in fact, named for their inventor: Forrest Mars Sr. They are not, as one uncle told me as a young child, mined from Mars and shipped back to Earth; nor, as another uncle told me, are they made of the "output" of Mars, the Roman god of war.

The simple fact is that PE won the Beavis caew on the basis that the charge was set to operated the scheme .... no debt collection charges, no further codts

But, your ticket was cancelled and that is END OF

Pubs / hotels that take on parking companies have no idea what they doing, the public are not known to complain but rather vanish ibto the night and go elsewhere where parking vermin are not allowed

The local media are always interested in these stories

    Well they can ..........

    Im not paying it...appealed it....POPLA code ....

I can't see POPLA refusing my appeal when I put it to them has the business really lost £100 by me being there for five minutes and 10 seconds....

we can also question how do we know their cameras are accurately synced and the main thing is ...they going to try to refuse appeal over 10 seconds... I doubt it.

But the appeal has to be done correctly, so for example put a sign on the entrance put a sign by the bar put clear assigned on the way in...

I mean, let's be logical without all the legal stuff who the hell is going to not put the registration number in at the bar if they are clearly aware of it by a sign on the entrance...

Dear Parking Eye, in spite of the landowner, (you know him he's the person that engaged your free services) asking you to cancel your scam charges, you say that you are "unable to"!
Can you explain who has decided that you are "unable" to cancel this charge, was it the government, the police, a judge, the council, I am confused as "unable" suggests it is beyond your control, but as I understand it the charge was made up by you for your profit or costs for scamming people and you have the authority alone to cancel!
