Summertime

Brilliant progress @rachmac3
I have snuck in on the last day of the month by felling my final big OAT of summer, ordering the perfume for my belated birthday present. This should not have become an OAT but just felt overwhelming. Really pleased to have got it done.
Do we want a new Autumn thread or are we going to live in British denial that it's still summer? 😁https://forums.moneysavingexpert.com/discussion/6466032/an-in-between-phase

I'd like a new thread please - not because I want summer to be over but because Autumn will bring a different variety of tasks especially for folk who are keen gardeners, we can be organised and cosy for the next 3 months and then it will be time for our sparkly Advent.4

I think new thread too. 😊Once I get the visit to my parents over and done with I can feel a whole new focus and drive within me to get stuff done here …

I turned up the hems on my dad's new joggers. Felt very pleased with myself but they are still too long. Note to self - measure, don't guess.A selection of cardboard boxes have been squashed ready for the recycling on Tuesday. Spare room looks so much better now.3

Well as far as I am concerned summer must have finished at the end of July as my August bill was actually a bill of almost £14. May, June & July was free & I only use around 20kWh per day!! Yes 20 a day is an awful lot really. The good news is that I am sure that I will easily reach solar payback time in the ten years they quoted2

I've just taken a few more things to the charity bin! (I haven't stopped today) They'd been annoying me for months because I would have preferred to take them to my local charity shop. Gone now!

Ooh, a cozy Autumn thread sounds perfect. I am popping back to say a huge thank you especially to PiP and Rachmac for getting me started with selling on Vinted. Given I started buying on Vinted a year ago and I sell on ebay it was odd how much of an OAT it was. No idea why.
Anyway, drum roll please. I sold 12 items thanks to you and made £36.40. :-)
See you all on the new thread soon.4 -
