I am considering emptying my floordrobe and going through each item one by one, and sorting it. It's a mammoth task but I'm very over pulling out items of clothing that I don't like, doesn't fit, or is raggedy clothing only suitable for cleaning or painting.
It may pass, but I'm putting it on here anyway because I'd feel amazing if I actually did it!Debts 04/01/25 01/09/25

Good luck with tackling your floordrobe Rachmac. I put two things on Vinted a week ago when I had a strop and realised they weren't comfy or stylish or doing me any favours. They'd sold by Sunday morning. You can do this! Or bag up for charity, keep the stuff you don't love moving...

Filled in the online eligibility to vote registration form as soon as it arrived. Quicker than putting it into my filing tray and picking it up and putting it down for a few weeks. Then shredded the paperwork. 😇
put the recipe for banana pancakes in my recipe folder rather than letting it float around on its own and then having to spend time finding it each time I want to cook the pancakes. To celebrate I cooked the pancakes and ate them with strawberries and blueberries.4 -
Excellent celebration @Blackcats
I have started the monthly big flat clean before the start of the month and might even finish it before the last week of next month 💅https://forums.moneysavingexpert.com/discussion/6466032/an-in-between-phase

Mr C and I spent a couple of hours putting away the final detritus from last weekend's party - so all tents, extra beds etc are now back in the loft. Impressed we've done it within a week 😂2

I have sorted my car insurance. The cheeky blighters had set it for auto-renew for £150 more a year! They hadn't even emailed me a renewal quote. All sorted now.
I've posted two more vinted sales this afternoon.
Apart from that I have mostly remained horizontal and eaten cookie dough ice-cream.Debts 04/01/25 01/09/25

I didn't sort the floordrobe as I realised I didn't have enough hangers to deal with the things I'm keeping. I've ordered some.
I did deal with the mystery piles on top of the drawers in the floordrobe space (cupboard under the stairs to the attic). I've thrown loads out. Mostly old make up and broken bits of jewellery. I hung on to so much stuff when I was poor and desperate, just in case. That mindset is on its way out thankfully!
Still loads to do but at least I can see progress. And I can see how I could use the space better.
Now best I do some of the general chores I haven't done for days.Debts 04/01/25 01/09/25

Thanks @KajiKita I'm making slow but steady progress.
I don't think I'm quite cured of that thinking, but seeing it/remembering those feelings definitely shows me how far I've come mentally ☺️Debts 04/01/25 01/09/25

I've emptied the tortoise's indoor run and given it a clean. It's not looking in great shape. I'm wondering whether covering the inside in vinyl wrap will be worth it to get it through the winter (it's an IKEA bookcase). I'll look into it.
I'd also like a gold star for cleaning/sorting all day un caffeinated!Debts 04/01/25 01/09/25
