Thanks for the tip @greenbee, it can't hurt ...
Well done on replacing the elastic - a very satisfying job.
I also love the pink shed. But there is NO WAY Mr KK would allow such exuberance in our garden!

Agree with greenbee's tips and last time I managed to capture mine in a towel (over his head) and swiftly put him head first in the carrier, with the towel, closing the door before he realised. Worked surprisingly well but maybe first time luck.KajiKita said:Booked Chloe in at the Cattery for us going away next week. Whether we will actually get her there is a problem for *next* week …! 😉

I just give mine a cuddle and chat to them while stuffing them in the carrier
I can't remember at what point we had a breakthrough, but they're now very compliant with that, worming, fleaing, nail clipping, burr removal, tick hunting, flea inspection etc even if they don't like it.
Make sure you send her to the cattery with something stinky of yours/MrKK's. A t-shirt or jumper you haven't washed for ages is always a good option. And grubby bedding not nice clean stuff.0 -
Oh we always take a work shirt of Mr KK’s to line the Cattery cat bed ❤️greenbee said:I just give mine a cuddle and chat to them while stuffing them in the carrier

Job for tomorrow will be to start feeding her treats … then the day after to start putting a line of treats to the box with the door off …

Just leave the treats in the carrier. She'll find them!

Very OATy evening:
- Set to and signed us up to a two year fixed rate energy deal so we at least know where we are.- Rang PC who had been helping the previous clerk with admin to see if she knew what had happened to the PC insurance certificate… She didn’t, so contacted previous clerk who thought it might be in the inbox of the clerk that he no longer has access to … Relayed all of this to current clerk …
- Replied yes to all three emails from clerk to permission requests she needed and nudged another councillor who has been conspicuous by her absence on the email chains of late, to do the same …
- Tried and failed to find the login for the PC bank account. Need this to start doing monthly mini audit in transactions. Relayed that to chair and clerk.- Printed out and displayed notice of all meetings up until AGM in May next year in the local noticeboard.

Processed what feels like vast quantities of cooking and eating apples for the freezer (still lots more of both to pick - and even more pears) after doing maybe 10kg of plums earlier this week.... Made a large bagful of crumble tipping to go in the freezer, too 😁I am the master of my fate; I am the captain of my soulRepaid mtge early (orig 11/25) 01/09 £124616 01/11 £89873 01/13 £52546 01/15 £12133 07/15 £NILNet sales 2024: £203

I’m quietly ticking away at cleaning (my most hated task) so my house is gradually getting cleaner 😊
