I so appreciate this challenge.I am deliberately being more mindful at work re pacing myself and this is paying off. I do feel so much more free and balanced. Have been doing this for a month or so.Easy meals and left overs and repeats are all helping
Bring lunch to work every day and happily unpack my sandwiches from their bread bag.We will have a new shower room, converted from bathroom, in August so every penny counts. It needs doing and I’ll be delighted when done.Very grateful for working from home today, for dog walks with DH too, for easy bolognese for tea, for my bird app, for hearing the wind in the trees while I type this11 -
Today I am grateful for working with some lovely people, for good songs on the radio, for Pip having a friend + mum over so we both got to have a chat and catch up, for buttercups.

NSD 4 today! Not sure how it's only Thursday, I'm exhausted! A couple of late work evenings this week, my job can involve a lot of reading and sometimes it's too much for my eyes.
I am grateful for the sunshine, for the smell of jasmine, for the birds, for a slow WFH morning. I have been doing my morning pages. Will do pilates at lunchtime. Need to think of a sociable thing to do this weekend and a self-care thing. Would like to listen to a full album, from start to finish. Can't remember the last time I did that.Student loan £5655

Work today, and NSD #1 for me. Very tired as we went out last night, and I was late to bed (for me).OH did dinner, while I checked the banks and moved some money around. A regular saver had matured and the balance was languishing in a current account, so I sent it to my ISA.Horrible weather here today, heavy rain and chilly with it. Good for the garden mostly of course, but I suspect my tomato plants would now like some sun!Still, I am grateful for not having to do any watering after a busy day at work.5

Enjoying reading along and will get my NSD soon I’m sure. Life has had some stuff in it and I am balancing things well. Also balance on one leg while putting cream on my toes and putting on a sock. A nice little task that makes me laugh.Grateful for seeing DD today and having a lovely packed lunch together, DH being hugely better, sunny dog walks, birdsong, trees, laughter at work7

I'm late to the Turtle Party, but can I join please apple 🍎 🙏
I did not maintain balance today. I was a total hero though, benefits "person" told me I should ration the cakes and 'nice things' in case people took them. I was not polite. It was Easter branded chocolates and ys sticky buns, not £500 notes and diamonds. The lack of empathy astounds me every time I have anything to do with the DSS. They would have been in the front row at the guillotine .knitting.
I do not have a problem challenging authority.
I have a problem with deliberate cruelty.
Weight coming off nicely (shhhh!)
WideNation want to give me £100, and the PB fairy gave me £150🧚♂️ so I am not going to be scrabbling about for loose change this month.
Lots of redundancies and job losses at DHs workplace. His stress levels are massive. He has just finished his 2nd load of marking. Trying to keep him calm and balanced.
DS3 has an interview for his work placement for his course. There are 20 positions and 13 people going for them..... he will also be paid to do it all summer. Keep everything crossed for him please 🙏 .
4/10/22One Year Mortgage Free Yay!

Slow and plodding, leg is being difficult and I'm having to use painkillers to get to sleep. I have done 3 loads of washing and my winter coat, lots went to the bins and recycling, found my bathmats, food -used up 2 rm and lots of bits. Having to use my stick to get to the toilet and back. Need to pay bills and get food - may need to use taxis (5 buses maybe).
Grateful for bringing clothes in before it rained, seeing a pied wagtail in the backs, books and entertainment.8
