Uber eats Disney plus 12 months free

I ended up just subscribing on the monthly with ads for 4.99 as I don't mind ads. There was also a 15% cashback offer with Curve Card, but it was still more expensive than the lowest tier if you applied it to the cheapest annual (you don't seem to be able to do the ads one monthly).
Maybe Uber One will sort themselves out in a few months then I can use this offer and go from monthly to annual then. Just including the above if useful to anyone.0 -

Support were utterly useless, clearly only reading my last sentence and going to their script to form a reply. They kept telling me they checked my account but said I wasn't eligible as the offer expired, but didn't tell me a) why I'd got the email then, b) why their t&C's said different
I did claim last year so I'm probably within the 14 months. I can now get the offer to appear when logged in now since I just cancelled the renewal, but when clicked it offers me a trial instead, so I'm not confident I'll get a code through.
I sent the email to my wife and if she clicks she gets the offer on the Eats app but it says trial when you click through. It says on hers it expires today, so I'm wondering if it's worth signing up or not then using the cooling off period if no code?
I don’t think anybody had managed to get the ‘offer’.0 -

Now to see if the email arrives.
Now on my app the button to claim the offer has disappeared again, though it's been present for a few days. I'm gutted I didn't take a screenshot of that.
I called customer service right away, and to be fair to her, she was very friendly and listened while I explained the issue. I just told her all the facts, and noted to her that the original links to the TC's of the offer now has different information. (I thought this was true, but now looking at the page again, they have not removed it, but it is pushed right down the page, underneath the Uber1 Member Days TC's. You have to scroll right down to find it.) However, I explained that I know the offer was stated as ending in February 2026, while the digital support team referred me to a TC's link of an offer that ended in 2025.
I said that I would either like to receive the activation code, or I would like my yearly subscription cancelled and to be refunded. I explained I am happy to pay for one month, (I have ordered food) but not for the year, if the Disney+ offer is not available, as this is why I signed up. After a little bit if hold music, she told me that she will escalate this, and request that I be sent the Disney+ code.
I'm happy with the phone conversation, but I am now aware that I had better count the days, and make sure I don't go over the 14 day cooling off period, in case the company tries to push me over the line before saying it's not available. I have also screenshotted the TC's of the promotion, in case it gets taken down, or moved.
I am willing to cut my losses, but I won't allow them to go unaccountable for this, because the way they Uber are handling it reeks of scammy tactics and gaslighting. It's become about principle now!

Thanks for replying. I am now in the same predicament that I claimed the offer, no email came through and it has now disappeared again. I was considering risking waiting until 21st June when my free trial ends as someone earlier in the thread was told that was why they hadn't received the code yet, but then I would be well outside the cooling off period. Keep me posted on what happens for you.0

I gave up and cancelled. I’ve taken out a Disney+ offer elsewhere and won’t be signing up to Uber (Eats or One) again any time soon.

A successful update!
I was contacted by Uber support digitally, asking for details of my issue. I responded, outlining everything in a single post this time. They then apologised, and provided me with the code right away. I tested it, and it works.
Here is what I said to them, in case this helps anyone trying to get a resolution:"Hello, I assume you are responding to the phone call I made to support? My issue is that I signed up for a yearly subscription to Uber One, in order to use the promotional offer for a year's subscription to Disney+. When I claimed that offer on my app, the email with the code did not get sent to me, and the information said to contact support if this does not get sent within 24 hours. The terms and conditions of this offer are found on this page on the Uber website: [I put the link here, but can't post links on the forum yet] It is near the bottom of the page. Within these terms, the promotion is stated to end on 15 February 2026. I previously went through a very confusing conversation with Uber support, where they told me 1- that I do not live in the UK, 2- that is was not available on my account, 3- that they did not understand what I was talking about. I do live in the UK, the offer was available on my account, because the link was present for several days and I clicked on it. This has since disappeared, and I am not happy about this, as I have acted according to the original terms outlined by Uber in order to claim this promotion. I called support, and explained that in resolution, I would either like to receive the 12 month code for Disney+, or I would like to cancel my subscription, as I am still in the 14 day colling off period, and receive a refund for the annual subscription, minus the one month fee. I am happy to pay for one month of Uber One, but not for the year if I do not receive the promotion that I signed up for. Please let me know which of these two resolutions you will be able to provide. Thank you."3 -
Hi, has anyone got anywhere with this, who is outside the 14 day cooling off window? I signed up for 12 months Uber on the promise of a free 12 month Disney + subscription, but still haven't received a code. I've tried the Uber help, but that's useless.
On top of paying for Uber membership and not receiving the Disney code, Uber have suddenly stopped sending me promotions!0
