Uber eats Disney plus 12 months free

I signed up on Wednesday night to the yearly sub at £49:99 and claimed the Disney offer. It’s supposed to send you a code via email within 48 hours but so far no code. I’ve been on chat and they say something about the free trial.
I’m sure Martin said you can claim straight away and then if you withdraw after the free trial or during it the Disney plus will just stop anyway.
Does this mean I have to wait 4 weeks till the free trial is over before I can get a code for Disney plus?
The chat on uber is not very helpful.

Care to give a little more information?

The promotion applies to an annual subscription to Uber One (not Uber Eats).

They should have sent you a code within 48 hours as you say. The T&Cs say

" If you have not received your code within 24 hours, please contact Uber Support at help.uber.com/ubereats/restaurants "

Not sure why a free trial is relevant. If you are a current subscriber (free trial or otherwise) then you will have to wait for this to expire or cancel it before you can use the Uber code. The Uber code will only work for new or returning subscribers.

Or set up a new subscriber using a different email address.

That offer expired at the end of February.

  • Uber one, yes. I am a new subscriber so should be eligible.
I went to the promotions page and clicked on Claim offer and waited for a code via email. But nothing. I’d be interested to know if anyone has done this?

However in chat it says that doesn’t include free trial members but Martin clearly says it does. Can you sign up without the free trial?
    Pasted from chat
    1. If you have an annual membership with Uber One you can enjoy 12 months of Disney+ without ads to paid annual members (net new, upgraded, existing full price). NB: excludes discounted annual plan members and free trial members

Apologies, I was addressing being a subscriber to Disney not to Uber One.

Could someone tell me how to get the Disney plus code from the Uber app? I clicked on Promotions and I can only see promotions relates to rides. I think I am going mad!

Have you purchased the Uber One annual product?

    From the T&Cs

    8. Participants who purchase a full price (i.e. not discounted) annual Uber One membership via the Uber or Uber Eats app within the Promotion Period will be entitled to a twelve (12) month Disney+ Standard plan subscription (“Reward”).

I'm having the same problem. I've tried to contact customer service, but ended up talking to someone on the food side. I don't think they have a direct email for account issues, just a phone number. I hate phone calls, so I'm going to have to psych myself up for it first, but if I get an answer I'll let you know, in case it helps you too.

All I can think is that I might have used a Disney plus offer at some point in the last 14 months, but I don't remember doing so.

I signed up last Wednesday. It was impossible to sign up for the years’ membership without taking the free trial period. I found the Disney+ offer and clicked on it. It said I had claimed the offer and had until the 23rd to use the code, which would arrive within 48hrs. No email arrived and there was no way to contact them through support. I messaged Uber Eats and they weren’t much help (didn’t read any of the info I sent them and I ended up having to send screenshots). At that point they said they would have to refer it on to another team. That was on Friday so I’m almost a week on and no further forward. The offer has since disappeared from the app. If it isn’t resolved before the end of the free trial, I’ll be cancelling. Stuff like this frustrates the heck out of me!
