Just applied and will switch my Kroo account over.

Can’t believe they don’t need active DD’s to secure the switch bonus.

Can I just double check as well. Having now opened my account, I presume I only have been now (although that’s impossible as I don’t have card details) and the 31st in order to secure ‘this months’ £15 cashback?
Kroo are not part of the Current account switching service.

    https://kroo.com/switch-your-current-account

Co-op terms state you must switch as part of the CASS.

Thank you. Is it possible to open a second chase account and switch that?
Yes, that's easy to do, and is the method regularly mentioned on here.
Awesome. Thanks again for taking the time to help.
Glad to help. If they ask for a debit card number you can give your chase card number.....or specify you don't have a card linked to the account. (Can't remember the options with TSB)
It did ask for my Chase card number but I didn't put it in as I only opened the 2nd Chase account to switch it.

I've just had a lot of faff with the TSB app - I registered for online banking as part of the account application but had to wait nearly a week for them to post out a verification code to complete the online set up. The verification code didn't work!

I called TSB and was told to uninstall and reinstall the app which then didn't require that posted verification code so I waited days for nothing. Not too impressed at the moment but hopefully it will improve and the reward/cashback will run smoothly.

My topcashback hasn't tracked either so that will be more faff to sort out.
I have received everything but the verification code too, hoping it will be here Monday.

Thanks for the heads up, will try the uninstall etc if I come into any issues
So today my verification code finally arrived in the post, not sure if that’s a TSB issue or RM as the letter is dated 4th June which is only last week.
Anyway after all that the verification code didn’t work and I was blocked after 5 attempts.
Called them and can’t fault their service, they set it up so I could get OTP via sms and I’m in 👍

now just need to complete the 20 debit card transactions

Does anyone know if the terms of the Cashback exclude any payments to saving accounts. Been perusing the T&C’s and can’t see anything or am I missing it?

In a similar vein to the likes of Tiny Direct Debits that will let you set up a 50p DD to help jump through bank switch hoops - is there a way to make multiple 1p/2p debit card payments? Most charities/crowdfunding take a minimum of £1 so not a realistic option. As opposed to spending 15 mins at a self checkout etc?

They do not. Any Visa Debit transaction is acceptable. Have used NS&I in the past.

    PayPal, utility companies sometimes.

Important to understand that in the vast majority of cases a 1p debit card transaction will cost far more than 1p to process. PayPal have been known to take umbrage at this (although others claim to have done it successfully for years).

There's a list of savings accounts which accept debit card deposits too. This route is effectively free in the end as you can just withdraw the money - again certain providers take umbrage, others don't seem to.

Another option is just to buy 20 items individually at a self checkout (at a time when the shop is quiet!). This is perhaps the quickest option in my experience. Shop staff seem to be cool with it too in my experience.

I pay £1 off my credit card bill 20 times through the app.

I've received  £15 cashback for this month(May but payment in June): £5  then £10 a few hours later.
So does that mean l'm  on course to receive  the £100 switch incentive  in August?

Does anyone know how long pending payments take with TSB? I made a bunch of debit card transactions in person in shops on Friday 27 June and they’re all still showing as pending even now (Monday 30 June).

Also, assuming the pending tag is removed tomorrow (the money has already been taken from balance) which would be 1 July, does that mean the transactions won’t count towards the 20 transactions for June?
