I just  realized that l put the date for the switch to be completed on 30th May.(Confirmed).

So will l now only be able to get the £15 per month cashback for 5 months instead of the 6 if l had stated the switch to be completed  in early April??

Can't you start making the 20 payments right away (ie as soon as you have the details of your debit card,  presumably before 30/5), so before the effective switch date=30/05, to get the triple cashback=£15 as soon as on 20/6 ? Or does making the 20 payments (or some of them) before 30/5 only entitle you to the regular £5 cashback ?

I don't have a physical debit card yet. So can't make any payments only be able to transfer via different  account.
I'm not sure about doing debits transactions  before the swich is completed .

Yes I realized that (hence the "as soon as" in my previous post). But presumably the card (or the details of the card in your online account) could be available as soon as tomorrow, or Tuesday 27 ? So that might give you 3 to 4 days (27 to 30) to make the 20 payments (31 would probably be too late for May) ? At least you would salvage £5 out of the max £15, and with luck you might get the whole £15 cashback.

If you’ve received a TSB switching offer since October 2022, you won’t be eligible for this offer.

Thanks forgot to put that part. I'm not eligible again :'(

Same here.  I'm gradually coming to terms with the fact I'll probably never be eligible for a switch bonus again

So I've  decided  to go for this particular  switch offer.

Applied for a second TSB  current account on 18th a Sunday and got confirmation on Monday just waiting for the access code now to go online.

I have completed the switch form online and had a copy sent via email.

I just  realized that l put the date for the switch to be completed on 30th May.(Confirmed).

So will l now only be able to get the £15 per month cashback for 5 months instead of the 6 if l had stated the switch to be completed  in early[INCORRECTLY  PUT APRIL IN ORIGINAL  POST] June??

I'm not to bothered about all the extra stuff you could get. Just the £100 and the £15 cashback.

When you say you've applied for a second TSB current account, does that mean your first one wasn't part of a switch and you didn't receive a signing up bonus?

They often go by dates, 3-5 years from last switch, you might be waiting a bit and then start another cycle

Sam Vimes' Boots Theory of Socioeconomic Unfairness:

People are rich because they spend less money. A poor man buys $10 boots that last a season or two before he's walking in wet shoes and has to buy another pair. A rich man buys $50 boots that are made better and give him 10 years of dry feet. The poor man has spent $100 over those 10 years and still has wet feet.

Does anyone that’s applied know if this one gives you an option to opt out of an overdraft by any chance?
I have a few old defaults and am a bit worried they will deny if I can’t opt out.
