I did their previous switch without taking an overdraft. It's normally that you opt in for overdrafts, at least was for the various banks I've got accounts with.1stTimer said:Does anyone that’s applied know if this one gives you an option to opt out of an overdraft by any chance?
I have a few old defaults and am a bit worried they will deny if I can’t opt out.0 -
Thanks I applied, it didn’t give an option if I wanted one but it did ask if I had an OD that needed to be transferred and I said no to that so hopefully that’s the end of it. I got emails that all look promising but I’ll keep my fingers crossed until it’s there in-front of me and open.Save £12k in 2025 #32 £14,871.88 / £6000

I've just applied and it did ask me if I wanted an arranged overdraft but I said no. I've opened up a 2nd Chase account and put a few quid into it so I can do a switch but now I'm unsure if Chase take part in the switching service?0 -
They do, many of us have used a Chase burner account.Baled said:

Just applied and will switch my Kroo account over.
Can’t believe they don’t need active DD’s to secure the switch bonus.
Can I just double check as well. Having now opened my account, I presume I only have been now (although that’s impossible as I don’t have card details) and the 31st in order to secure ‘this months’ £15 cashback?0 -

Co-op terms state you must switch as part of the CASS.

Yes, that's easy to do, and is the method regularly mentioned on here.SFCooper said:
