If you’ve received a TSB switching offer since October 2022, you won’t be eligible for this offer.

For future reference Ts&Cs have been archived to the wayback machine:

Am I right in stating that though it requires a 'full switch', there is no requirement to have active direct debits? Also for the monthly cash back, its driven by volume of transactions, rather than the value?0

It would be nice if HSBC Group reset their dates. I switched in October 2018 and wouldn't mind a First Direct account now, but they still show 01/01/2018 as the cut off date to qualify for incentives.grumpy_codger said:If you’ve received a TSB switching offer since October 2022, you won’t be eligible for this offer.0 -

Sam Vimes' Boots Theory of Socioeconomic Unfairness:
People are rich because they spend less money. A poor man buys $10 boots that last a season or two before he's walking in wet shoes and has to buy another pair. A rich man buys $50 boots that are made better and give him 10 years of dry feet. The poor man has spent $100 over those 10 years and still has wet feet.

If the terms don't mention direct debits (which they don't) then you don't need direct debits.fergie_ said:Am I right in stating that though it requires a 'full switch', there is no requirement to have active direct debits?

Seems a no brainer to do this one if you can.0

So I've decided to go for this particular switch offer.
Applied for a second TSB current account on 18th a Sunday and got confirmation on Monday just waiting for the access code now to go online.
I have completed the switch form online and had a copy sent via email.
I just realized that l put the date for the switch to be completed on 30th May.(Confirmed).
So will l now only be able to get the £15 per month cashback for 5 months instead of the 6 if l had stated the switch to be completed in early[INCORRECTLY PUT APRIL IN ORIGINAL POST] June??
I'm not to bothered about all the extra stuff you could get. Just the £100 and the £15 cashback.
