Thanks @newgirly!
You are so welcome @SarahwithloveI am still merrily topping up my steps in the evening if I am short of 10k, current TV obsession while I am plodding away is the Dallas Cowboys Cheerleaders documentary in Netflix - I would love to be able to dance but it is definitely not one of my strengths
Finished Anna O, enjoyed it, would probably read another of his books. Have now downloaded The Boyfriend by Freida McFadden (another Amazon freebie), am definitely on a Kindle/ reading streak at the moment!
Was lovely to see the niece, she always makes me smile, she is in to drawing at the moment and I just love some of her little pics!
Work feels so "uphill" at the moment, I have a week off in August so can't wait for that but also hate that I am just wishing my life away.
Have a food shop being delivered on Friday, I could really do with dropping a few kgs so trying to make good choices but it's as though the more I think about, the stronger the cravings are. Might try intermittent fasting again. I can remember being in my 20s and being able to eat whatever I wanted and it having zero effect - those were the days!
The weather is finally starting to cool down a bit but it is SO WINDY here today, I have rose petals all over the garden like a romantic something or other took place out there while I was at work!
Have had an OK week spending wise, nothing major or unexpected to report! Just need to keep this going for the rest of July!May 25 - £1,112 of 15k emergency fund + £124,972 mortgage outstanding2 -
Being quite disciplined with the 10k steps, have only missed one day so far! That said, I think I might be getting some kind of tendonitis in the top of my foot
Have finished the Dallas Cowboys documentaries and now thinking I'll probably cancel Netflix again for a bit, I don't think I watch enough TV in the summer to need both Netflix and Prime.
Still reading The Boyfriend, spent all weekend writing assignments so haven't made much of a dent yet. Am now unto date with coursework though so feeling pretty relieved about that.
Seeing the niece again at the weekend, she is coming for a sleepover Saturday night, will see if she wants to go anywhere or do anything, there is still plenty in the entertainment pot for this month.
Spent a bit on Prime day - have ordered a new mascara (needed and have budget set aside), a 4 x 6 label printer for all the bits I am selling on Vinted etc, they are so quick to use and I still have mountains of things to get rid of, have also ordered some NAD patches to try as a friend has been raving about them.
Have been trying not to eat before midday each day, had some mct powder in the cupboard from a previous attempt and that helps but I had REALLY loud tummy rumbles today in a meetingHoping for some movement when I weigh myself at the weekend.
Have gym sessions booked in for Thursday, Saturday and Sunday already and think I will go for a run on Friday. Also have a catch up with a friend booked in on Thursday.
Have decided to stop tracking my mpg as I don't seem to be changing it very much, am using my cruise control a lot more though.
Another day in the office tomorrow then I can relax, everyone is on such a downer at the moment, it's awful!

Have just cut the grass as the weather is meant to be horrific all weekend which is a tad disappointing!
Still loving the walking pad, still plonking along but I have had to start wearing trainers as the top of my foot was starting to feel bruised and I can only put it down to the walking pad
Almost at the end of The Boyfriend, quite dark but still enjoying it!
Cancelled Netflix and am sticking with just Prime for a bit, I can't justify having both!
Have sold a few more bits and pieces on Vinted, just have to stop spending on Vinted tooI am feeling a bit out of control with spending at the moment, think I need to do a week of no spending or something - any ideas?
My weight hasn't moved despite the intermittent fasting, I think it might be making me crave sugar even more too, will give it another week and see what happens. I eat so much better when I am at home and not in the office.
Have gym sessions booked for tomorrow and Sunday, haven't ventured out for a run recently as it has just been too warm. The poor dog has been really struggling with the heat too and I feel awful when she doesn't get out for a walk - I wish we could communicate for a day so I could know whether she gets bored or not!
