Another steady commute done sandwiched between lorries.  My current mpg reading is now 39 which is an improvement but still not great.
    No unbudgeted spends today  :)
Posted another Vinted parcel and listed another three items.
The niece arrives tomorrow tea time so having a tidy around before she comes, looking forward to spending some time with her.  Have multiple alarms set for the school drop off and pick ups so I don't forget  :s
Have moved a few bits of shrapnel in to my emergency fund, I like it when my bank accounts all have nice round numbers  B)

Another steady commute, mpg is still at 39 with a few days left!
    No unbudgeted spends  :)
Another Vinted parcel sent but haven't managed to list any more bits today. Have £42 pending at the moment so happy with that!
The niece arrived at 6 so we had bit of sofa time, she has had a bath (complete with bath bomb that has stained my bathmat and a flannel or two!) and is now telling me she isn't tired - GAH.
Nice quiet day planned tomorrow after the school drop off, I'm thinking a trip to the gym, home for a dog walk and some more Vinted listing and just the usual tidying/ cleaning.
I have a savings account where every month I pay in amounts for things like insurance, car maintenance, contact lenses, hair cuts, Christmas etc.  Split that out last night so the longer term/ annual things are in my higher interest Plum savings account and the things that I withdraw from every other month or so stay in my lower interest savings account (which is linked to my current account so really easy to transfer between the two).  Am now thinking I should just put everything in the higher interest account as the extra a interest is worth the effort.

Have had such a nice relaxing day!
Listed some more bits on Vinted, sold and posted five things so I now have £81 pending!
Managed a gym session first thing then walked the dog, I love it when my time is my own, I think I'm going to be brilliant at retirement! I think the answer is possibly to find a new job but I can't think about that at the moment, the thought terrifies me.
Have shuffled all my savings across to Plum (separate to my emergency fund) so will just close the other account.
Bought some sweets for the niece today which was unplanned but I had the cash in my purse so it's not a big deal.
Pay day tomorrow and I can't wait! Another pottering day then lunch with a friend, the niece has an activity she does on a Friday evening so that will be a bit dull, I'll take my book with me  :)

PAY DAAAAAY! Spent a good hour faffing about with my spreadsheet and transferring everything in to the right account/ pot so that I know what is what.
Sold another three things on Vinted so they are packaged up ready to go tomorrow but didn't get round to listing anything else.
Sat outside reading with a cup of tea for a very lovely half hour.
Lunch with my friend was nice, we have know each other for a really long time so it is just easy and stress free.
The niece has been very emotional today, think she is missing her mum  :'( It got quite heated a few times this evening!  We have agreed to draw a line under everything a start again tomorrow.

Have been doing a jigsaw on and off all day, I had forgotten how addictive they are! Obviously got it for the nice but she isn't too fussed about it :D
Filled the car up, posted the Vinted parcels and nipped to the library, got fleeced for some kind of squashy cube type thing and bought a couple of birthday cards.  Mostly planned spends apart from £4 for the cube.  !
Walked the dog and then went to the local park where the niece bumped in to one of her school friends so they played happily for an hour or so.  The friend's mum was so nice, it was lovely!
It has been overcast all day but still managed to get a load of washing sorted and dry.
Have done an online food shop as a few of the things I regularly buy are on offer so they can go in the freezer or are just store cupboard type things so will keep.
We have the cinema lined up for tomorrow afternoon so will have a quiet morning planned at home. It still shocks me how expensive cinema tickets are now!

Thank you so much @carboot_karaoke, I am definitely trying to be!
I honestly don't know how families can afford to go to the cinema, how do cinemas still exist?! £5 for a slush drink and £5 for pick and mix - flipping heck!  Are you allowed to take your own food and drink? I had it in my head that you couldn't?! We went to see Minecraft and really enjoyed it, Jason Momoa is v funny.
Today was fab, pottered around at home this morning (will be significantly more productive once the jigsaw is finished  :D ), two loads of washing done and dried outside in the crazy wind we have here. Dog walked too.
Have sold another item on Vinted so will get that posted off tomorrow, Another quiet day planned for tomorrow, the afternoon is meant to be wet so will try a dog walk and park visit in the morning and then the friendship bracelet making can commence in the afternoon (secretly very excited!).
Not a great day £ wise with the cinema daylight robbery (lol) and I also bought two Habitat cushions on Vinted - whoops... I have a house repairs/ DIY pot that I can use for them but they aren't needed!

My mpg is back down to 36 as have only been doing local shortish trips  :s
Another load of washing line dried. The weather wasn't as bad as forecasted, we only had a very short shower this afternoon, so we were outdoors most of the day which has tired us both out! The niece goes home tomorrow, the time has flown by!
Bought some local honey today as have been feeling a bit hayfevery a few times recently and it is supposed to help.
Need to get some more bits listed on Vinted tomorrow before work again on Wednesday!

The niece has now gone home and normal life resumes!
MPG is back up to 39 after a commute  :)
A draining day in the office, nothing achieved but also nothing spent so  B)  Had leftovers so took those instead of eating in the canteen.
None of my live Vinted listings have shifted so will go through them after this post and reduce each price by 50p.
Found an old Lush scrubby shower bar type thing in the cupboard so used that this evening and it is lovely! Can't believe I haven't tried it before now!
Back in the office tomorrow and still have some leftovers so hopefully tomorrow will be another day where my purse stays closed  :)

Normal life resumes but hopefully grateful sibling too! Kids are draining so it’s not a small thing to take one for more than a few hours.

I’m intrigued by Vinted but have yet to dabble.
