MPG is still at 38 after another commute.  That is my three days in the office done and I am so glad!
Another low spend day, only lunch which was budgeted.
STILL trying to finish the book :D I think it'll be done by the weekend.  Might pop to the library on Saturday.
Was gutted this morning, logged in to my mortgage account and my valuation according to the house price index thingy had reduced back down to the valuation when I bought it which changed my LTV from 56% to 72%.  Spent all morning being more than a little bit mardy with everyone (apologies to my colleagues!).  Decided to recheck mid-afternoon and it was back to the 56% so it must have been a glitch THANK GOODNESS!
Have a delivery date for the new bed so could really do with getting a bit of painting done before the end of the month.  Gah.  Serves me right!
The new bed will be worth it when your sleeping like a baby 😊. Technology glitches can be scary...ask M&S 😱 glad the 16% was restored.

Your reference to the library has reminded me to go and read the beginning of some books l brought from there recently. Sadly I'm not as patient as you. Reading a book is a rare treat reserved for when I go on holiday.  I will give each a maximum of 20 pages if they dont grab me then I will send to the charity shop.  If they do then in the case they go 😄

We were talking about M&S today at work @carboot_karaoke, they must have lost hundreds of millions of pounds at this point, I wonder if they will ever be able to recover?

Re books, I would definitely recommend The Seven Sisters, if you don't read often though then it will take you forever as there are eight books  :D

I work with mostly men @ladysummerisle so they tend to just raise an eyebrow snd carry on like nothing happened  :)

Managed a gym visit today, I really need to get in to the habit of going when I am not in the office to make the membership worthwhile. That said, it is also close to shops and I bought some sweets, interdental brushes and soft drinks which weren't planned so.........

Also had a takeaway for tea so all in all, not a great day for my finances!

    Fridaaaaaaaay at last!
Three loads of washing done, dried and put away.
Car filled up with petrol and the mpg trip reset.  Finished on 37.5.
    Gym session done.
    Dog walked at lunchtime.
Large packet of crips s eaten - whoops.
Plan is to get ten things listed on Vinted this weekend.  Will go through the things that haven't shifted after writing this and reduce the prices by 50p/ £1.
No plans tomorrow, think I'll got for a run first thing if it isn't raining.  Park run has been put off until next weekend as my friend has some family "stuff" to see to. I'll possibly get a bit of decorating done!

Had a really quiet weekend as have been feeling a bit under the weather, slept for a few hours yesterday afternoon and thought it might mean I'd not be able to fall asleep last night but had no problems so think I must be fighting something off!  No Vinted listing and no decorating done though - Grrrr.

Car service and MOT went OK today, was just over £650 as needed a few bits and pieces sorting, had most of the money set aside so not a problem, will use the Vinted sales money (£141!) to help and shouldn't need to touch my emergency fund.  There was a time when it would just have been boshed on a credit card with no plan to pay it off.

Reset my MPG when I filled up, am currently on 32.5 which is bit of a drop! Need to pay attention to what I'm doing tomorrow and try and get it back up in the late 30s.

I hate this point in the month where the next payday feels like so far away!

Had a full day meeting today, I feel so drained! One more day in the office then I can recover in solitude  :D
Managed to increase my mpg a bit but the traffic was awful coming home so only on 33.6.
Only spent £3 for lunch which is budgeted for and tomorrow should be the same.
I'm looking forward to seeing some sunshine again in the next few days, fingers crossed for some time outside reading later in the week. Currently reading In a Thousand Different Ways by Cecelia Ahern.  I decided against borrowing a book from the library as I then have to remember to return it so just downloaded one of the freebies on Kindle that I get as part of my Prime membership.
My food budget seems to have shrunk very quickly this month, think it is just how the online food shops have fallen across the months though, I have plenty to keep me going so not too concerned!  Think I have mentioned before that I pretty much eat the same thing every day (when I am at home anyway), my fridge, freezer and food cupboard contents look very boring (which also helps with snacking!)

Third day in the office DONE! And managed to read outside for half an hour after I got home!  Too warm here to walk the dog so thought I'd grab the opportunity!  I keep looking at walking pads and have one sat in my Amazon basket but I know it will probably end up being one of those things I use regularly for a month or so then it gets stashed under a bed somewhere. My dog walks so slowly that I don't think there are any health benefits to taking her out but then I feel bad going for a walk without her which is ridiculous I know  :#  I wake up early so could do half an hour before work each day.  Hmmmm.
MPG is now at 35.1 after a steady drive home.
£3 spent on lunch which was budgeted.
I also did a quick load of washing when I got home so that is on the line outside drying as I type!

Had a lovely lunch hour reading in the garden today, it was just perfect!
Only spend today was on a Father's Day gift and there was enough in my "birthdays" pot to cover it. Just need to make sure I post it off tomorrow!
Managed a gym session after work and it was nice to be in the air con for a short while.
Still pondering the walking pad.... I've been so good at decluttering lately that I just feel like it is a step backwards but then I also need to do something.
Three loads of washing done and dried on the line.
Looking forward to the weekend, no major plans, just how I like it!

Have had a lovely weekend; I did a gym session on Friday and Saturday and ran today so feeling good about that.  Had two glasses of Pimms yesterday at the village fair which felt very summery, although I don't really drink so I had a headache this morning!
Have cut the grass, done the ironing, washed the dog's bedding, painted my toes, finished reading In a Thousand Different Ways by Cecelia Ahern (it was an easy read, didn't dislike it but wouldn't rave about it either) and have put some more items on the pile of things to list on Vinted.  I also have a bag of bits to send to the charity shop.
Bought a few bits and pieces in Lidl on Saturday (the food budget is a disaster this month), and needed some dishwasher tablets so ordered those from Amazon.  Quite a frugal weekend all in all (apart from the Pimms!)

After realising at 6pm that I had only done 2.4k steps all day, I have caved and ordered a walking pad.  I can picture exactly how my Gran would look at me if she was still around  :D It should arrive on Thursday.
Downloaded a free Karin Slaughter book on my Kindle that I am quite enjoying (After That Night), managed 20 minutes in the garden reading when I got home from work which was lovely!
I have a study day planned on Thursday then I have Friday off work as was bought a spa day for my birthday, I can't wait as the weather is meant to be glorious!
Another day in the office tomorrow. Sigh! But it's another day closer to pay day!
