Another day in the office, mpg was 35.6 when I got home so that's a slight improvement I think.
The usual £3 spent on lunch and also felt the need for a Snickers mid-afternoon - I am torn between keeping a stash of Aldi/ Lidl mini chocolates in my drawer at work and carrying on as I am with the occasional purchase here and there, I know that if I have some in my drawer I'll just inhale them whereas if I have to make the effort to walk to the other side of the building to the vending machine then it more often than not puts me off
Have ordered some sun cream for Friday as I'll need a higher spf than what I have if we are going to be outside for most of the day.
Managed another half an hour reading in the garden when I got home from work, love managing to get a bit of sunshine each day, it definitely lifts my mood.
My legs feel really heavy and swollen at the moment, I'm guessing it's the heat combined with the gym session and run at the weekend, they don't feel like my own!

MSE says get the stash but if it was a healthy diet board it would be a different story!
Maybe buy some but don’t take them all in?MFW diary: https://forums.moneysavingexpert.com/discussion/6254913/never-a-good-time-but-here-goes#latest

78SH said:After realising at 6pm that I had only done 2.4k steps all day, I have caved and ordered a walking pad. I can picture exactly how my Gran would look at me if she was still around
It should arrive on Thursday.
Downloaded a free Karin Slaughter book on my Kindle that I am quite enjoying (After That Night), managed 20 minutes in the garden reading when I got home from work which was lovely!
I have a study day planned on Thursday then I have Friday off work as was bought a spa day for my birthday, I can't wait as the weather is meant to be glorious!
Another day in the office tomorrow. Sigh! But it's another day closer to pay day!
Your peaceful time reading in the garden sounds like sheer bliss ☺️

I wasn't able to log in for a few days - kept getting asked to verify that I was a human multiple times!
Realising what a snoozy life I lead as not much to report since the last post
I am really enjoying the walking pad so far @carboot_karaoke, I thought I would use it first thing in the morning but I have been topping up my step count to 10k each evening (if I haven't been to the gym or for a run) whilst watching TV. The dog was traumatised initially but isn't bothered about it now!
Haven't solved the snacking dilemma at work, inhaled another Snickers yesterday. I love a pink lady apple but it just doesn't hit the same!
Pay day today so will update all of my spreadsheets shortly. Last month was a complete write off, I think the "spare" money in my budget was too much of a novelty, need to rein it back in this month so I can get the savings account increasing and the mortgage account decreasing! Will get some standing orders sorted so its gone before I realise
Nearly accidentally signed up for a half marathon yesterday. At the time in my head it is "just" four 5ks, glad I came to my senses and kept my mouth closed!
Really enjoyed the Karin Slaughter book and now on to another Amazon freebie - Anna O by Matthew Blake - which is also pretty good. I am loving the current weather and getting to read outside! The dog isn't loving the weather as much and is spending a lot of time parked directly in front of the fan.
Have listed quite a few things on Vinted over the past week or so including a nice bag that I will be sad to see go, it sold for £85 and I just don't use it so it had to go! I can see small improvements with all the decluttering.
The new bed is is v comfy. Have been sleeping really well recently although that can't all be down to the bed as it is the same mattress
The spa day last week was AMAZING, we had perfect weather, it was like being abroad.
I am giving blood tomorrow - have ignored a few reminders from them recently so thought I would get that sorted.

Still loving the walking pad, have done 10k steps every day since it arrived (not always having to "top up" on the walking pad in the evening if I have had a busy day!)
Enjoying the Anna O book, have managed several half hour stints in the garden reading over the last few days, it feels criminal to me to be inside cleaning when the weather is so amazing! Having to walk the dog mega early (5:30ish) and even then it has still been a bit too warm for her really. Thankfully she isn't a dog that really needs walking, she's pretty lazy!
Have some time set aside tomorrow for another 30 minutes of Vinted listing. Sold some GHD tongs that I never use last week so it is still going well!
Gave blood on Thursday which was uneventful and then was back in town for lunch with some old work colleagues which was brilliant, we have stayed in touch and manage to meet up three or four times each year, we look like a very random trio being of very different ages but we always have a brilliant time!
Tomorrow I have the niece coming for a few hours late afternoon so looking forward to seeing her and hearing all of her news! Also have some coursework to finish which I have been putting off for weeks and now need to get sorted this weekendI am such a procrastinator
