I’m waiting for the result of my POPLA appeal now. Should be a couple more weeks.
I’ll update the thread when I get an outcome, but certainly won’t be paying either way. From things I’ve seen on this board and elsewhere I’d probably advise you to do the same3 -
The results are in and it’s a huge win. Many thanks to all who helped with this appeal, particularly @Coupon-mad. What you do here is invaluable.

If there’s any other way I can help for the future/anywhere else I should post this to be helpful, please let me know.
Thanks again!7 -
Hope you will complete the Public consultation in August?4

Yep but what the public need is an impartial Single Appeals Service, not two.
You got lucky that yours was a BPA firm offering POPLA but having two rival appeals services encourages poor practice, gives a totally unsuitable (considered unfit) service (IAS) a wholly inappropriate platform. The very idea of two rival appeals services is contrary to justice, never mind that one is better.
It's not a case of healthy competition! There cannot be two appeals services.
Well done. Good POPLA appeal.
Here's the main gist of it:

How can the signs not be legit if they've been audited by the BPA?Or is this actually a massive great lie?

Busterwolf do you have a reference number for your successful appeal? I’m preparing a court defence and this would be helpful as I was parked exactly the same way as you.1

Hi, sorry for the delay. I'm not sure how to find my case number. When I log onto the popla website it gives me the summary of my case, my verification code and some other info, but not the case number. The date of the decision was 22/07/25 by assessor Jason Cookson-Dean, but unless someone can point me to where to find the case number, that's the best I can do.
I could post the case summary too if that would be helpful, as I'd very much like to help anyone I can to beat these guys in court0 -
It's your 10 digit verification code (POPLA Code) that's needed for others to quote.
POPLA verification code 4111205039
(just to clarify for the Forum Team this is a completed case = safe to share the Code. No different than a claim number in case law).PRIVATE 'PCN'? DON'T PAY BUT DON'T IGNORE IT (except N.Ireland).

Oh fair enough. Thanks once again Coupon-mad. In that case my verification code is: 4111205039
I hope this isn't too late to help you, @Badparker11 -
A great win. Well done.
Incidental remark: Teesside Park is surely one of the worst designed retail parks in Britain, if not the world, as anyone who lives in the area and uses the place, will know. I wonder if there's ever a competition whereby the worst such place can be nominated?0
