Leave the DDs in place and remember the months are linked to when your bonus is paid, not calendar months.IAMIAM said:My switch date is finally set as 10th June, even though I applied when this post started!
So from peoples experience, is it deposit £1k on the 11th June, withdraw 12th and complete 10 £1 debit card transactions that will trigger the £100 a few days later....then continue with £1k deposits monthly? I will just use the £25 credits to complete the 10 monthly transactions until the full £75 has arrived...0 -
Just tried to register for online banking with Coop. Part of the process involves confirming a date that you opened a bank account out of a selection of 4 or 5 random dates - or select none. I failed! That's a difficult question for us serial bank switchers! - Or does everyone keep meticulous records of this kind of stuff?

You can view your credit record (which is where Co-op Bank are getting these facts from). I can't say I've had a problem just remembering tho.VXman said:Just tried to register for online banking with Coop. How long do you need to the leave the £1000 in and can the 10 card payments be any amount? Thanks0
-
1 - no specified amount of time, so immediately in and out is fine12Charlen80 said:How long do you need to the leave the £1000 in and can the 10 card payments be any amount? Thanks
2 - no specified amount, so 10x 1p would qualify if you can find a way of doing it0 -
Am I correct in thinking day after the initial £100 is paid the month starts again for first of the £25 then every 30 days thereafter0
-
That's correct, except the 30 days part. It's the same monthly anniversary date I believe, even if the month has 31 or 28 days.grandadgolfer said:Am I correct in thinking day after the initial £100 is paid the month starts again for first of the £25 then every 30 days thereafter2 -
After you receive your £100 you get an email telling you what you need to do to get the next £25.0

I've received a letter yesterday 7th June(dated 4th) stating that my switch will commence on 4th June and should be completed by the 12th June.
On my online application for the swich asked for completion by 10th.
The switch offer was withdrawn on the 4th so will l be still eligible for the swich offer?0 -
My understanding from reading through the terms is that as long as you opened your account and requested to switch before they withdrew the offer, then you should be okay as long as you continue to meet all the other requirements. There's nothing that says the switch needs to complete before they withdraw it.Bob2000 said:I've received a letter yesterday 7th June(dated 4th) stating that my switch will commence on 4th June and should be completed by the 12th June.
