Don't see why you need anything in the current account (I have 10p). The £1500 dance was to enable cashback for a month so not needed for the bonus boost.I’m a Forum Ambassador and I support the Forum Team on the Credit Cards, Savings & investments, and Budgeting & Bank Accounts boards. On Chases advice I’d frozen the debit card recently as there were a couple of small dodgy transactions appeared, albeit declined as there were only a few pounds in the account. I’d pretty much wound the account down since the monthly requirement went up to £1500. I was getting cashback on my Santander accounts so nothing gained by leaving money with Chase.
Any way, I got that email this morning so moved some out of Santander to Chase and opened a new saver at the boosted rate.0 -

As I already had 10 savers I had to delete one first and then create a new one which now has the 4.8% rate.
Not sure if everyone will get offer this but its worth a look0 -

Got an email too, I had stopped using them since the change of rules on the cashback and had moved accessible savings to Chip since Chase rates dropped.
It's an instant account, and pays more than my Chip limited withdrawal one, let alone the chip instant one, so moved back to chase for now.
We'll see if more follow or when BOE rates drop again..
Instant is useful to save the paycheck between Payments, and they generally pay far less, if you find them..1
