A NSD yesterday, today won't be as I'll go and do a proper food shop.

Have come down to the allotment this morning. OH isn't feeling well so he's on the sofa. It's due to rain later on so I'll do a couple of hours here, food shop then some house cleaning.

£48.65 spent on food yesterday plus £9.87 on cleaning supplies/toiletries.

Today has been a NSD other than some stuff for work which I will claim back tomorrow. Did an OT shift at work - I was cooking which I always enjoy. Bit stressed out about how behind I am on paperwork but hopefully will get a chance to catch up this week.

£2 cashed out from surveys and moved to the roof debt savings.

£1.29 spent today on a baguette for tea. We had roast chicken last night for tea so had chicken salad baguette tonight 😋

Nothing else much to report - work was super busy today so no progress made on paperwork but hopefully tomorrow!

Did manage to make a tiny bit of progress on the paperwork this week but not much so really need to carve out some time for it next week.

Day off today so allotment this morning and then met a friend for a long walk in the afternoon - 25,000+ steps today!

£27.05 interest from the matured 6 month saver 😀 and added to the roof debt savings.

The last week has been pretty tough and just haven't felt up to posting at all. Really wish I could take some proper time away from work but not an option at the moment. I have annual leave in around 5 weeks time so on the countdown to that.

Finance wise, I have definitely overspent. Mostly on rubbish food this week, just too tired to get myself organised. Thought my bank balance was looking quite healthy but got a letter about council tax today. Had totally forgotten to pay it at the start of the month, now paid and bank balance looking decidedly less healthy.

Day off tomorrow so looking forward to a lie in, allotment and spending some quality time with OH.

Taking a quick break at the allotment - treated myself to a bacon roll and coffee from the local bakery, £4.70 spent. OH opted to stay at home and do the garden there. Plan is to do a couple more hours here then food shop and library visit on the way home.

£30.94 spent on food shopping today, however, realised I'd forgotten a couple of things so will get them tomorrow. Won a £8 s@inburys voucher through my mobile provider so I'll use that 🙂

Moved £8 from the grocery budget to the roof debt savings plus 75p cashback.

Walking to work at the moment to do a few hours overtime but it's to go out on an activity so it will be fun. Had planned to go to the allotment after but there is rain forecast for this afternoon so will wait and see. Might do a couple of hours work for my assessor role instead - I am very very behind with it.

Another really difficult week at work - just so much going on with trying to support a terminally ill resident and dealing with staff stuff too.

However weekend off so went to the allotment yesterday. Today we're visiting my gran as she turns 100 this week ❤️ having a big family party next weekend to celebrate. Will go to the allotment afterwards.

£36 cashback from TCB (from taking out the home insurance) moved to the roof debt savings.

Got my payslip too so need to do a budget for next month.
