Those roof debt savings are coming along nicely. May not seem like much each time but little and often really adds up :)

Hope the plan to not work as much OT works out (though understand its not avoidable sometimes), you are now well out of debt and balancing the budget well each month. It would be good to pay the mortgage off early but getting a balance between finance and work/life is important too.

Thanks Boodedoo - the little and often payments do add quickly and they help to keep me motivated.

I would love to be throwing all th little payments to the mortgage but getting the roof debt gone is the priority for now.

Was feeling quite low and flat yesterday for no particular reason but thankfully I have woken up this morning feeling much more like my usual self. Sun is shining 😎 and I'm walking to work, it is very chilly though.

Another working day done and unfortunately more unplanned OT. On the upside, it's been a NSD 🙂

Dentist visit yesterday so £17.32 spent on a scale and polish. Also spent £13.25 on some shopping. Quite a bit of that was on juice as there was a good deal on the diluting juice I like, it's usually £2.50 but the deal was 2 for £3 so I got 4 bottles which will keep me going for quite some time.

£17 for the dentist sounds like a dream - it's £67 for a check-up at mine, and I'm in and out in 5 minutes 🤦‍♀️!

    Mortgage start: £65,495 (March 2016)
Cleared 🧚‍♀️🧚‍♀️🧚‍♀️!!! In 5 years, 1 month and 29 days
Total amount repaid: £72,307.03. £1.10 repaid for every £1.00 borrowed

Finally earning interest instead of paying it!!!

Friday and yesterday were NSDs. Day off yesterday so popped down to the allotment in the morning and then spent the rest of the day watching films as it started raining heavily and very windy. Noticed one of the outside drains was blocked and on checking today, it's full of muck so clearing that is on the to-do list - need to buy a pair of long rubber gloves first though.

Have come down to the allotment this morning to do a couple of things. Unfortunately I need to work later as I couldn't get anyone to cover the shift but don't start until 3 so plenty of time to get organised. Need to get some food shopping in but don't need much as we're away to visit my parents Thursday-Sunday.
